Lol SC I love ya bro but I knew you were gonna make a post like this and seeing it just made me start laughing.

"Wow look at these high profile members of the scientific community's stance on something that the scientific community has a vested interest in appearing safe"

GMOs are toxins, anyone who speaks out against them winds up "missing" or isn't allowed to have their papers "peer reviewed".

I love how you pull up sources that are blatantly made by high ranking people in the GMO conspiracy to prove points. It's like if I pulled up a Nazi official's diary to prove that Hitler did nothing wrong.

That's not true.

At that point, it ceases to be a model because the figure is no longer a person.

This is real freakin neato.

Is there any more information on the subject of our meats and GMOs. I know having meat from animals with non-GMO additions is a staple advertising campaign by one of my favorite Mexican food chains.

It's good that she does, all my role models however are too damn stuck in their pride to admit their lives were problematic in any form.

She does....

all good role models admit when they were wrong, and use those experiences to become better

Wouldn't it be more honorable if they admit to their failings rather than instill the same problems on the impressionable next generation?

most role models aren't perfect, it's their flaws and struggles that inspire you

My brother tells me that, is it shilling for Nvidia when you simply choose to avoid AMD completely? I've had nothing but bad experiences with AMD and as far as benchmarks go, they're either neck and neck or inferior in whatever situation. This isn't even an argument with CPUs. Whenever AMD unveils whatever new line of GPUs they want to showcase, they will always do so with Intel core systems because they know their own CPUs are problematic. Meanwhile Nvidia has never once failed me and they're not ball busting more expensive like people would have you believe.

If you want to call it Nvidia shilling I wont stop you but it's more accurate to say I'm just very Anti-AMD and there's no other alternative other than Nvidia/Intel. AMD continues to shit the bed and get away with it under the guise of "Price over performance".

Aren't you just shilling Nvidia though?

This stems from another comment I made in response to PSU about moving out. Looking back on it now, half of the adult figures in my life (parents, teachers, people who are supposed to instill wisdom on me) are either complete fucking idiots or are intentionally trying to keep my own personal happiness down because they might have an inferiority complex of some sort. I'm hoping it's the former cause I'm not some deranged conspiracy theorist, but God damn did some of them say the dumbest shit.

"Living on your own is awful and a hard experience!"
Bullshit. Just because you couldn't cope with responsibility of personal choice and always need some authority figure in your personal life doesn't mean my personal freedom and right to my own self interest is a bad thing.

"You NEED to go to college to be happy!"
I'm still going to college but it's still going to fuck over the people who say this because of another bullshit thing they say. Happiness is entirely up to you, and if I'm happy making 15 bucks an hour doing something entry level for the rest of my life? Who are you to say I failed? Once again, another situation on an encroaching overreaching authority figure instilling their subjective views as an objective world view.

"You NEED to go into STEM to be successful!"
This is even more fucking stupid. And is basically saying "You can do whatever you want...so long as you go to college!" and then adding on more and more requirements "But you can do whatever you want....as long as it's X, Y, or Z!" The whole point of higher education is the ability to pursue a career in what YOU want to do. But once again, why have your responsibility of personal choice if some uneducated authority figure can decide for you?

"Always listen to your elders!"
Obviously ignoring the racist old people, how could I ever take advice like this seriously after the last three arguments are made up on a foundation of horse shit.

I have come to learn that half of all role models (the ones spouting this irredeemable garbage) have some sort of phobia against personal freedom of choice and liberty and as such, needs some overreaching parental force to dominate every facet of their life, and because of this everyone must need the same form of baby care. The whole point of growing up is being able to make choices for yourself. If you want to be coddled like a man-child in your thirties because you chose to listen to irrational adults as a child go ahead, but please don't force that view on others.

« on: June 30, 2016, 03:32:24 PM »
That's why most people go out and make friends. Cabin Fever fucking sucks, and even if you have no friends to go out with, still go do the things you enjoy outside, beats staying at home going through the motions like a machine.

Yeah, living alone is pretty neat... y'know, until week 2 of not going outside and you start turning a little crazy from the isolation.

I would know what living on your own is like, because my parents go on vacation every summer and leave me and my brother behind. I was like 13 or so the first time, and with a brother that always works you're pretty much on your own.

I hate my current living situation but it will be a cold day in Hell before I ever move back in with my mom.

All my childhood adults tried to instill this fear in me that living on your own is this incredibly tough experience and that I will be miserable because that's "A part of growing up". Imagine my surprise when I found out (like most of the lies adults gave me) that was all a crock of total bullshit and that living on my own had awarded me freedom and happiness I never knew existed.

Moving out sucks. Everything is so much easier when living with parents.

It's a sign, don't get AMD. It might be a somewhat decent GPU, but you don't want to compromise on the GPU, go with a Nvidia card instead.

EDIT: I was worried real quick that somebody was trying to shill AMD to you but it appears you were just having bad luck with money. The 480 runs literally exactly the same as a 970, now you might not like the fact that the 970 is slightly (keyword here SLIGHTLY) more expensive, however you're not going to be waiting on back order for a 970 and given the problems AMD has had in the past with heating, noise, and power consumption, a 970 would serve you better (and probably longer). That slight raise in price is an investment in all honesty.

It's the inner city 7-11's that give it a bad rep, mostly because a Walgreens and a CVS Pharmacy are only really found in the upper class levels of the same cities. Working the night shifts at a gas station is literally one of the most peaceful retail jobs. You might get a customer once an hour or so, it's just you and your work buddy so pray he/she isn't an obnoxious piece of shit.

Despite having 5.5k posts, I don't see Mordo post on here enough for me to agree or disagree with your statement. My only response to you is:

I'd rather have some dip shit come in here and incite a flame war than see literally seven responses that are just variations of "okay". Seriously, that's just boring.

How DARE that child not wait for the local law enforcement. He was in NO REAL danger and made the entire situation worse by involving himself with that weapon.

All the dungeons in the game are brain dead easy. Trials require a bit of work, raids are another beast entirely. Most high end content will require watching a guide, but leveling will not.

Guys, I'm n00bc4k3 at MMOs.

Nidhogg Ex shenanigans:

After four hours of wiping and reaching the final set of fire balls only three times (despite now knowing the entire fight like the back of my hand), I have given up on Nidhogg Ex for the same reason I gave up on Thordan Ex: People suck. The very last group I got we only had 19 minutes left and we're all like "One more pull! Let's make this count!" and the damn tank pulls in Sword Oath, we all wipe in 45 seconds. Then we just stood there in silence.

Some dipshit: "Ugh did that count xD?"
Me: "Yes it did."

Make the Zeon great again.

Folks I tell ya, we're going to build this space colony, and the Earthnoids are going to pay for it! That cheeky fuck Newtype Amuro said "There's no way in Hell the Federation will pay for the colony just so you can drop it on us!" and that colony drop explosion just got ten miles bigger.

I'm gunna need your routing number your SSN and the name of your local bank

You already know what bank I go to.

Dude, you go to chipoltle too much.

I only see two transactions on there for Chipotle, but I know there's a lot more further down. I get it once or twice a week, I always get it on my work Monday and some other day of the week if my schedule allows for it after work (as in: any night I'm not closing the store at 1-2am).

Dude there's a bunch of numbers there that I don't know if you could use in anyway, and you still see where the transactions are going to.

clearly fake bank statements don't have black blocks all over them

Final Fantasy thaught me the value of friendship and teamwork, togetherness is goodness.
