Yeah, that's probably the only negative thing about not having cable since I can't watch him on TV like I used to. I mean, I can watch him online but it just isn't the same ya know?

Spock and Bones had great chemistry but the rest of the cast really wasn't all that great. The quality of a series does not lie in the captain alone.
TOS was just really freaking good; just because it has more obscure concepts doesn't make it bad.

>TOS >Better than Enterprise People are finally waking up and realizing Kirk wasn't that great of a captain in comparison but we still have purists.... lolno

The most cringey wedding I've ever seen. To get an idea, there's a maid cosplayer, a guy in a Pikachu jacket, and a Squirtle cosplayer, with a guy just sitting there with one of those creepy horse masks. It got disabled what was it?

I'm not asking for an extensive resume and past work experience followed by education level. But it'd be nice if more of them posted actual interests and hobbies. Even what I posted in the OP was fine until you find out it's just the most generic tip of the iceberg part of the subject. It's like people are afraid to share what interests they really have or to go in depth with somebody that may or may not be on the same level as them in terms of subject knowledge. I for one would love to sit around all day and talk about Eva with a girl until I'm blue in the face, but if all they're going to talk about is how much they thought the new movies looked cool, I'm going to be turned off. I see "No hook ups" all the time on these apps but by being vague and cryptic, I feel that's contributing to a hookup atmosphere on these apps since no one wants to add any depth to themselves. And at this point I realized you took my obvious joke thread and managed to make it serious. Thanks I guess.... Tinder is all about appearance. No girl is going to put her life story on her tinder bio when she's not going to swipe right on 75% of the profiles she comes across, keeping it vague is the best way. Makes the other person want to learn more about you, that's the fun part about getting to know someone.
Trust me man I'm pretty much a Tinder pro

If by talk you mean admit I liked her you'd be right, but we are pretty solid friends. As for the other instance, I'm sorry I'm not an unemotional robot that's made of stone when depressing thoughts enter my head, but that doesn't change the fact that shitty Tinder profiles are still shitty. Neither of those instances are here nor there in this thread, if you're going to be cryptic and vague in your dating profile, don't expect to get a lot of people swiping right for you. Dude you couldn't even talk to the girl you liked irl and started crying for no reason when she was driving you home, You have no room to be roasting on Tinder girls

For a first date? That doesn't sound odd to you? I agree that just going to the movies is pretty bland, but that's why movies should only be half a movie date. I wouldn't be bothered by the idea of an exotic or exciting date if it wasn't the first one. I mean Jesus, you see a guy that's attractive and automatically want to travel to Rome with him? wow you're really fucking judgmental
She wants to go on an interesting or exciting date not just hook up or go to the movies duh

I'd love to hear them, considering almost every profile I've seen on Tinder has to be a fucking joke. >See cute girl >Want to check out more >View profile >"I want to meet someone to go on an adventure with, just to travel and have fun with " >Instantly swipe left Like seriously, what the fuck does "Going on an adventure" even mean? I wonder how many tinder girls have cringey stories about you

If you don't remember, I made a thread about three weeks ago where I got all nine seasons of DBZ on DVD. i hope you really aren't shallow enough to cut off contact with somebody because of their differing tastes in entertainment...
i mean i get that tinder is the epitome of shallow but damn, there's more to a person than what they do to pass time

She probably would've mistook Yavin 4 for an actual planet and not a moon. Did you ask her if she likes AC/DC and Star Wars

>on Tinder >swiping through various grills >come across very qt intern grill >her profile says she's a serious gamer and anime fanatic >oh cool >swipe right >match >sweatymanwithhandkerchief.jpg >message her >contact established >"So what kind of video games do you like?" >"Oh you know just the good stuff like CoD and Minecraft haha" >"...cool. Anime?" >"omg I fuhreaking loooove DBZ and Naruto" >immediately unmatch her >report her

I never said you couldn't or that it was impossible. I said that it was difficult. I post something and you have an image in your head of what that sounded like. Even if I were to clear up the way I said it, if I don't change the wording it will still come off the wrong way. that's not what i'm talking about.
you CAN change your perceived tone on the internet.
that's what i'm talking about.

what "actual problem" did i dodge
you said there's no way for you to change your perceived tone -- you're wrong, and i'm not going to be able to convince you of that. so i left it be. How am I wrong? I've proven in the XV thread I'm capable of admitting that, but you don't want to admit that so you just go and say that I'm unwilling to listen when you didn't even try. the way you do it? yeah In this logic, everyone bitches and moans then. maybe ian will look back to this thread a week or so later and realize how dumb he's being Not with you stirring the pot some more.

Way to completely miss the point and dodge the actual problem. Also, yeah sure, because my original comment to the five votes was totally not sarcastic or anything. Is any form of bringing up problems whining/bitching to you? okay dude whatever
this is another example of you crying about shit no one else cares about
i've got 5 votes too, do you see me whining like a bitch

We're on an internet forum, it's rather difficult for me to change a perceived tone. it's not what you say, it's how you say it. you can't possibly understand because you're you. biased perception.
and people don't have to be justified in their dislike for you, at all. i'm unjustified in my dislike for luciana and nuka. that doesn't mean i magically like them.

The problem is for almost a year now I'm told something and then out of nowhere it's actually something different. but only five people voted for you
that's not a whole book that's like a paragraph

I really couldn't have cared less before hand. Since all ANYONE has EVER complained about before today about me was quoting. Now out of the woodwork there's apparently a whole book of problems. Of course I'd be pretty upset about that. Because now I feel like everyone's being a two-face. How can I trust anyone's behavior around me when in actuality they have a whole shit load of problems with me but refuse to let me know beforehand? Like, they don't like this but they wont let me know so I can't fix it. why do you care about getting votes here in the first place though?

I feel like a Chad in one. But then my tucked in button up shirts moves up slightly and there's that gap between my stomach and my shirt and I feel like I look fat.
