Septagon / Re: We should really consider adding a Destiny board
« on: October 02, 2016, 10:00:15 PM »
They killed private groups, which is where a good chunk of the old-time members lurked when not browsing the main forums. The moderation team either became uncaring towards problems (Achronos, Foman, OPR) or they became blind with power and tried to create an echo chamber for their views (Dazarobbo). The latter going so far as to shadow ban me for a dissenting opinion.

The community also suffered from all the new members refusing to adapt to the old guard's culture and caused a significant rift. Title bars (which showed tenure, seniority, and people's place in the community) were replaced with just some number of your account creation year which means fuck all if you don't actually contribute. There was no one killing factor but a myriad of problems that caused the death of the Septagon community with Bungie.

It just wasn't what people were used to.

Sorry Gats but you got #rekt.

Along with what Turkey has said, the game is never ever coming out and is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) crow funded game in development. All the trailers and gameplay footage is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. A good amount of controversy was cooked up on Escapist because they posted a story from a guy who left the project and talked about how it was a pyramid scheme. They only made videos to put together a neat looking trailer but there was no substance behind it. Not to mention the man in charge is known for being a huge hack.

Repeated delays along with continually adding "new ideas" into the game. It's the hottest selling piece of Vaporware ever made. Compare the below image with where the game is now in terms of what has already been released.

Spoiler

Scam Citizen is a game that doesn't actually exist and never will.

What about it is a scam?

Yeah, the team really outdid themselves with the OST this patch series. I hope it comes out slightly faster than the Before The Fall OST did.

If people are getting this mad over No Man's Sky and how it was a kick starter, I can't wait for people to wake up to the Star Citizen scam.

They better get us REALLY ready for Ala Mhigo then by 3.5 because they did fuck all on that subject for the MSQ in 3.4. Whereas 2.4 started to focus heavily on Ishgard then derped and took a step back in 2.5 part 1 and didn't get back where it was supposed to be until part 2.

Also who the FUCK CARES about Moenbryda?! She was a literal who that just showed up for a patch and then disappeared and we're supposed to have some emotional impact by it? SE please stop mentioning her as if she was as important as say Ysh'tola or Thancred.

Has it been confirmed yet if CoD4 remastered will be released outside the LE? I'd pay good money for both CoD4 remastered, and MW2 if the rumors are true. Every other CoD game has been "meh" to shit.

Five? We only have one more patch before 4.0 if we're following what Yoshi has been saying.

Well Ala Mhigo will be 4.0, so we have 5 more patches to wrap story stuff up like that. It's also not surprising in the least considering what you did to them at the end of the last patch.

Spoiler
Did the Warriors of Darkness really just disappear like that? That seemed rather anti-climatic considering they were being hyped up since the launch of Heavensward. Also, bringing back Nidhogg's eyes kind of worried me, I don't want to keep going to past content, I want the story to go into new stuff which is why I was so hyped with Ala Mhigo but it seems like I have to wait for 3.5 to get more Ala Mhigo action.

At least Sophia was fun, can't wait for the new OST to come out so I can get the track.

Debates should go on until they've went fully through the talking points but then TV outlets can't put a lid on it to make you watch reruns of The Big Bang Theory.

He's too sexy, we'd all write in his name whenever he would tell the audience to be quiet.

Why can't we just get the Silver Fox, Anderson Cooper to moderate everything? He's great at it.

The ending always makes me realize this is all political theater. As if they actually are against each other. They probably play golf together every other month on off years.

But do they really want to be in conflict with us though? Are they actively acting out against us?

Iran is a regional power in an unstable region with major rivals.

North Korea is the pimple on the ass of the world.

jeez weirdos just watch it on tv

I don't have cable.

Anyways, neither of them really gave us a clear answer on stopping home-grown terrorism.

Also, Hill please stop trying to get a reaction out of the audience. They were told to shut up like eleven times before hand and twice during the actual debate.
