I almost forgot that, and how they excluded the Champion DLC from Season Pass buyers, saying it wasn't "Originally planned" (an experiment for the Req Packs in H5) but the season pass says "All DLC".

Let's not forget when they accidentally gave out the first DLC pack for free then lied about it being a "try and buy" period for like 13 days

They either did some kick in the balls or royally fucked up, ignoring the MCC the notable flaws of each game that's been under them seems small but had lasting negative impacts. I'll try to remove the campaign problems because they're mostly subjective. I'm not trying to be prejudiced against 343 and will admit their flaws with the MCC launch is mostly on MS's part, but all of these things as minor as it might sound left players hugely dissatisfied.

Reach:
-Removed all DLC from playlists except for the Anniversary DLC
-Edited Invasion Playlist to include non-Invasion maps and gametypes
-Limited the amount of non-Forge Invasion maps (when was the last time anyone played on Boneyard or Spire let alone Breakpoint?)

Halo 4:
-Removed their OWN DLC from their playlists a week after launch
-Didn't include their brand new game mode Extraction until months later, only to permanently remove it, no explanation given
-Join in/out in middle of games
-Removed Dominion only to bring it back because of upset fans
-Butchered Forge/Custom Games, and no competitive games for the hardcore fans, nothing to please anybody

Halo 5:
-"Social" Playlists are just ranked playlists with rank hidden. With how extraordinarily efficient the matching system is with putting you against similar ranked players, even your casual non-competitive edge games will still put you into a challenging competitive match, even Community Action Sack is like this
-Micro-transactions out the ass, pay-to-win in Warzone BTB
-Firefight is a buggy mess
-Forge is very detailed, but the problem now is that it's OVER complicated. Unless you're a die-hard forger that spent hundreds of hours in Reach's Forge World, there's way too much stuff to understand.
-"Social" Arena playlists get recycled for something new every week/month instead of just keeping what people like and recycling playlists they haven't tried yet

And as said previously, they ditch their previous game for their newest one, leaving all the flaws untouched.

As for 343's track record though, this forum seems pretty heavily biased against them. I'm sure they're fine by Halo standards (which were already low to begin with from my point of view).

It received plenty of updates before Halo 5, but we all knew 343 would abandon it as soon as Halo 5 launched. I'm not defending the practice, I'm just saying that's how they've always been and Halo 5 will be left in the mud as soon as Halo 6 is released. I agree that there's a lot of issues with the MCC such as not being able to see playlist populations or that the UI is still buggy, but I still find games relatively in a good amount of time. I can't give much experience on the netcode as every game of Halo 3 has been laggy as shit but every other game has been perfectly fine for the most part.

In contrast, the MCC recieved some basic patches to make it barely functional, then was effectively dropped and forgotten and not a word was said again and the game hasn't recieved any support for the better part of a year, if not more. Even now, the loading times for the multiplayer are extremely long and it's either the shitty netcode or that no one wants to play it - the skill matchmaking has been widened so much to find games in a reasonable amount of time that it's questionable why they actually have it. Either is a failure on 343/ Microsoft's part to ship a decent product and a failure to support their shitty product. I don't believe in just forgetting about missteps like these, as it just shows that a developer can release a shitty product and it doesn't matter. Plus, it also encourages people to be a bit more critical about what games they're buying; if a studio has a track record of shitty, incompetent and broken releases (And Halo 4, MCC and 5 - the three major releases by 343 - have all been generally not very good), maybe it's wise not to expect them to be making miracles any time soon.

It wasn't on the front page when I posted.

How about the only one on the front page?

I get it, I wasn't specific, so you are excused... or so you think. Because I wasn't specific I reckoned that the thread should be easy enough to find on the low amounts of clues given, and with that logic you are not excused. You are a lazy bum.

I hate having to agree with Verb, fat people are fucking gross. I see them in motorized carts all the time at work, I don't know how people live with themselves knowing they're so fat they can't even perform the basic human function of simply walking.

Fat people are disgusting--especially when they're stupid.

Luci has a point, people need to realize The Donald is just stirring the pot at this point. He's made his money off this campaign, and he managed to rile the fringe groups that were shunned by the establishment while he's at it. The last thing people should fear is Trump winning, they should be more worried on either the reaction immediately after Hillary wins, or who the fringe bring up in the next four-eight years.

Maybe if people didn't answer rhetoric with rhetoric, and demonize the last two Republican candidates as literally "The worst candidate ever", we wouldn't have gotten the worst candidate ever. 2008, everyone thought McCain was a horrible, racist, insane monster, partly because they were so dissatisfied with Bush and also because he was running against the Democrat Jesus, he doesn't look so bad in comparison does he? Literally the same scenario in 2012 only Romney gave up a month before the election and just phoned in his interviews, rallies, and debates.

Another problem is nobody wants to do spur of the moment game nights. Sucks because after a year I FINALLY got Halo 5....

I think we need more community shit to do. >.>

Like more movie nights or something. I miss when a lot of us would video chat on skype. RIP skype lol

I'm not trying to say this in an effort to undermine Hillary (She is gonna win the election after all) but for God's sake Verb, she was left helpless at several comments he made tonight. When it came to the Clinton Foundation she immediately brought up Trump, when guns were brought up, she back pedaled. She would've won if she just admitted to several mistakes like she did in the first debate.

Also the idea of not raising the debt by one CENT? C'mon Hillary, you have to be somewhat realistic here. As soon as you take Oath you've technically added fifty bucks to it.

The only two people who have worse political opinions than you on this board are PSU and Alpha.

I just watched the debate, it's nearing the end right now, but even with Hillary winning the presidency she lost this debate hard. She got BTFO several times and completely changed subjects at several points. If Trump was like this in all three debates the polls would be a little different.

A Hell of a lot cheaper than Lightning's attire, SE really can't have consistent pricing, still a tad bit much for me considering I don't have any money left over from the Bennu mount and my half-annual subscription is looming over the next month. In the words of Yahtzee "If five bucks is a micro-transaction than my balls are comfortably petite."

The Eerie trousers or whatever. Comes with the black dress from the store I think? I forget.

Raid Finder was added as a mix between PF and DF because DF is full of shit stains who don't even know the basics of their own job and PF has a habit of people sneaking into kill/farm parties expecting a carry. When I cleared T9 through PF it was the most most frustrating thing to try and get a somewhat competent party for it. You'd put in the description "T9 KILL party, DB's to clear" and some shit stain would always fuck up on Golems four times in a row. RF was added to kind of mitigate that. Unfortunately, after sitting in a queue in RF for Nidhogg EX, I see that people aren't really interested in using the features they've been demanding for over two years now....

What's the point of the Raid Finder when you have Duty Finder and Party Finder?

I'd be scared to do raids, besides the Crystal Tower or Mnach with randoms. People STILL have trouble clearing The Binding Coils with the Echo Buff, and playing it as a full team of unsynced level 60s. Especially Turn 9.

I want to respect Ocarina player, but part of the many reasons I stopped going to cons is because I kept seeing obese neckbeards walking around with an Ocarina around their neck (obviously in front of a Tri-Force tee) trying to play it and failing horribly.

Actually, the ultimate way to get back at them would be to not get married or have children. Why would they care if your family name is lost?

I would like to get married and have children, but I want to do so with then knowing it isn't because of what they want. And doing so would give me what I want as well as not giving them what they want.

aww that's kind of sweet in a rebellious kind of way.

Part of me is spiteful against my grandparents for being pushy about my love life. The last few years they always start up our meetings with "Where's the GF?" and "When are you getting married?" "We want grandchildren." and that would be the ultimate way to get back at them for trying to control my life. The other side of me believes if the would-be father/mother in law wasn't that fond of me, the act would be a sort of peace-offering since I don't carry any real sentiments over a simple last name even if they might.

I'm the only grandson with the last name in a family that cares too much about something so medieval.

Just curious... why do you want to take the woman's last name?

also I'm sorry about your grandfather's declining health
