And we can have that without sacrificing stories from games So why is the gameplay so boring and uninteresting? What the fuck are you rambling on about
The Uncharted series was amazing because of the gameplay paired with a deep story
The way you're making it sound, any game that tries to have a good story automatically sucks Which is not the case at all with any of the games you mentioned
What is a "good" game to you if you're going to write off any story as pretension
NaughtyDog has been consistently producing quality games even if not for the story I'm not writing off any story as overly pretentious, just generic action/adventure ones with nothing but cliches and drama. The Metal Gear series did story and gameplay fantastically before TPP, but that's because Konomi knew they were making a GAME first.

No. I'm calling for a balance that revolves mostly around being fun to play first. The Order 1886 failed for a reason, AAA developers are focusing way too much on making action movies. It's like they're trying to compensate for not being in the movie industry. You're bashing a game before it's even out... A game that's following up one of the best single player experiences ever made with a great story. I mean, what's wrong with a story? Games need a story of some sort to have some kind of legitimacy or they ultimately fall flat. The days of pong are long over, games have the ability for being fun WHILE having an immersive story. But here you are, sitting in the camp against that progression and calling for games to return to a time when they were unremarkable and cost a nickle to play.

FTFY, have you seen Amano's art for the characters in every title? Because that's the target audience for FF in general.

It kills me to agree with Azumarill. It represents everything wrong with the gaming industry. Action/adventure games try to hard so be more of an interactive movie than a legitimate video game. They do this all while pushing a AAA budget but down-scaling graphics (and mark my works, if anybody in a jacket and blazer tells you on stage that's "in game" he's flat out lying) making the gameplay boring because the developers focus in on the SSSSTTTTOOOORRRRYYYY. Making political movements, all the talks of "Omg guys, is Ellie going to be our first Lesbian protag?!" which have fuck all to do with video games. And the simple fact that just like the movie industry, all of these things just mentioned and more are a set of points to be GOTY-bait while being a title that will be forgotten about in several years. It's the same reason watching the Days Gone gameplay trailer was the most cringe-inducing thing this year from gaming. Witcher 3 was garbage for this reason, the Uncharted series is garbage for this reason, Assassins Creed is garbage for this reason, and TLoU is falling for the same sham. Let me ask you, will anyone really care about the first TLoU game three years from now? A true GOTY should be a game that can be replayed for years and years and never lose its fun or let alone interest from the player, because the developers focused on making a GAME first and built a story and visuals around that. What's garbage about it

Depends on the group. And before anyone calls the guy an Alt-Right nut job, he's very much well educated and condemns the Alt-Right. Tolerated by the law.
And how are they enforcing these "sharia controlled zones", or are they just the name for the areas that these guys present themselves in?

Tolerate what? Everyone and their grandmother hates the Christians that go door to door doing this shit. And unlike the Christian groups everyone does criticize, these people are making "Sharia Controlled-Zones". This is a bit more pushy than a Bible Thumper outside an abortion clinic. Holy shit Charlie, way to be five replies late to the sentiment. We've already called OP an idiot and gave examples of this activity tolerated in America.

There is definitely something fishy in those emails, the way they talk about "pizza" and shit is certainly more than an extreme love. But to say that it's a child pedophilia trafficking ring is quite a leap.

I don't see how it's a bait title, the group calls themselves that. Bait title too, man. Not really fair.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35059488Spoiler A German court has ruled that Islamists who patrolled a city's streets as "Sharia police" did not break the law and will not be prosecuted. Nine were arrested in September 2014 after patrolling streets in Wuppertal, western Germany. They wore bright orange jackets with the words "Sharia police". They told passers-by not to frequent discos, casinos or bars. The court said they had not violated laws on uniforms and public gatherings. Prosecutors have now lodged an appeal. The group of Salafists - ultra-conservative Islamists - included Sven Lau, a preacher whose passport was seized this year after he visited Syria and a photo surfaced, showing him posing on a tank, with a Kalashnikov rifle slung around his neck. He is suspected of trying to recruit Muslims to join jihadists fighting in Syria or Iraq and has spent some time in prison previously. He said he had gone to war-torn Syria in 2013 on a humanitarian mission.
Sharia, the revealed, sacred law of Islam, governs all aspects of a Muslim's life. The group's appearance at night in Wuppertal, in the industrial Ruhr region, triggered sharp criticism in Germany. A film of their "patrol" appeared on YouTube - but the action was condemned by the Central Council of Muslims in Germany, who said it was "harmful to Muslims". The group also carried notices proclaiming in English a "Sharia Controlled Zone". The notices spelled out prohibitions like those in force in some Gulf Arab countries, outlawing alcohol, drugs, gambling, music and concerts, pornography and prostitution. Activists in the anti-Islam Pegida movement - campaigning to stop immigration to Germany - demonstrated in Wuppertal last year. They have staged regular marches against "the Islamisation of Germany" nationwide. My ancestors are rolling in their graves. If this keeps up, I will only acknowledge my forebears of Scotland and Norway.

I like how you completely ignored my response in your previous XV thread.
It's only one section out of the entire game, how did you feel about hunting Deadeye back in Duscae? It was a stealth section that was kept from the Episode Duscae Demo because player feedback was positive on that section.

I saw Kingsglaive in theaters, and now I got it on Blu-Ray cause I got the Ultimate Collector's Edition of the game. While it ISN'T necessary to watch, a lot of the cut footage from Versus involving Insomnia is in the movie, like Regis and Aldercapt facing off in the treaty room. The CGI footage of Insomnia falling before Noctis learns of it at the inn is directly from the movie.
I won't spoil the ending of the game, but the MC of the movie appears near the very end of the game.
How are you liking the game so far? I haven't had much time to play cause of work but I still know pretty much a lot of the game from the streams I've watched.

I'm still struggling to get something for my mom and second older brother, the latter of whom is simply a matter of everything I want to give him is kind of expensive. My sister I got part of her gift. She's an avid Disney freak so anything I can get from the parks is nice, and easy too since we get 40% all merchandise there until February. I got her a 45th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom puzzle set, and I want to get her another set for the Haunted Mansion, and a Main Street Electrical Parade shirt, since that's gone away so the shirt is now rare. I can't find the damn thing anywhere.

This is an opinion that ignores other's choices in life who may have had a positive experience because of religion. There's a reason we use to have pastors work in prisons that isn't because of a non-secular government. There are no positives of religion. Fuck your "sense of community."

Dude, it's been that way since the last season of the original Dragon Ball, Kaio-ken was literally just a Proto-Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan Grade 5 was barely touched on in lieu of Super Saiyan 3, an admittedly cool transformation that solidifies my main complaint with Dragon Ball after the Buu Saga: it's not about martial arts or fighting anymore. It's about transformations and power levels.

I've ordered only slightly less from FedEx than UPS (mostly because everything I order doesn't give me a choice of which one I want), but every order that's came from FedEx has not only showed up at a decent time (like 10-11am right after I wake up) but also gives me an ETA during the day on when it'll arrive. I know all of this is completely anecdotal, but here in Kissimmee, FedEx has been overall superior. fedex is really no different, and I've had usps workers basically throw the slip on the door without knocking. I'll flat out tell people to never request signatures when they ship things to me.

This is a rant.
I understand that UPS makes most of its revenue off business deliveries which require strict "Before X:00 AM/PM" deliveries, and in that regard residential deliveries aren't their major concern. But not giving paying customers access to an ETA during the day and making them sit by the door for up 14+ hours because signatures are required on some packages is not a reasonable request.
A few months ago, I had the window open but where I was sitting in the room was behind some bushes so I could see out well but the deliverer couldn't see me. The man had the audacity to come to my door with a "Missed You" slip and gave three really quiet knocks before I quickly opened the door and made him get my package. That is absolutely terrible service.
So, a friendly word of warning if you're given the option: Always go FedEx over UPS.

They have culture, I will not deny that, something a lot of Americans today unfortunately lack. However going to Cuba is kind of like stepping back in time. It has stagnated significantly in comparison to even small/poor nations in Central America. I'm sure many Cubans would still flee the country even if it wasn't ruled by a dictatorship. I also understand Trudeau might have personal feelings on him, but Canada has a pretty good education system so I'm sure at some point he has picked up a history book and wasn't in the dark about Castro's..... misdeeds. He could've been a little more ambiguous about his speech. What he said about reforms to education and healthcare isn't untrue - for a while, I do recall them being on par with many other Western nations. Not that he should be honored in light of his human right violations, but to say that Cuba became a massive, uneducated shithole would also be untrue.
Trudeau also has a personal connection to the man - Castro was an honorary pallbearer for his father, former Canadian PM Pierre Trudeau. Not really a surprise that he put out a rosy statement.
