The Flood / Re: Aaaand the Ass Creed movie reviews are in.
« on: December 19, 2016, 03:48:30 PM »
Assassin's Creed had potential but they fucked it all up with their shitty choices. Having a fucking rap song as their reveal trailer music didn't help with setting the kind of tone the audience was going to expect and really drove it further into the ground.

4202
You say you debate this constantly, but I don't think I ever got an answer on how Empire was in any way bad from you.

It was the weakest by far.

4203
>People honestly think RoTJ was weaker than ANH
>People honestly think Empire wasn't the strongest

I agree with the lightsaber duel though, the was the best duel in the entire series. Beats the whole new age twirling bullshit in the prequels and TFA was literally just two idiots whacking each other's sabers together awkwardly.

Well he's no longer a Meme Overlord so he's got to be SOMETHING.

4205
Fuck off JIDF.

Not only are you still an asshole, you're also a pussy.

4206
Saying racist shit in public? Yeah that's pretty fucking asshole-like. But people saying it's bad on the internet (Like Anita and Tumblr) can fuck right off.

>You're an asshole for saying racist shit in your own home anonymously on the internet with other anonymous people who may or may not bullshit you on what kind of person they are.

Of course if you're saying racist shit in public I'd argue you're more stupid than anything.

The Flood / Re: Several Alt Right mouth pieces call for Rogue One boycott

But the female lead is cute so who cares?

Quote
Yes, in response to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s diverse cast and female lead, the alt-right is boycotting the movie

I actually thought it was a decent movie. Specifically the ending scene where all the rebels in the hallway get fucking Vadered. I'll go into more detail later.

4209
One of these days you all won't hold that against me.

Really?! I thought gaijins were people who bumped their anime music at the library.

4210
No, I always knew. I just hoped you'd keep it up.

No you were just too autistic to notice the intense amount of sarcasm and ironic shitposting I think. I never supported trump.

4211
Aren't Gaijins people who have eastern text as their name?

Aren't nu-males those people who wear (or have worn) a maid dress?

4212
You've changed after the elections.

What

4213
Something me and Nu-Chally can agree on.

Jesus you people actually watch this garbage?

4214

I don't think anyone would want a six hundred pound ferocious mammal flying out of their router.

OT: What about any of that looked incredible? That entire trailer was the most cringe-inducing thing I ever saw.

So more claims as undeniable proof from news outlets that have admitted a bias in the campaign?

Interesting.

Oh, I don't know...

Fake news such as?

A flood of fake news is "informing voters."

I'm not arguing his first accusation, although to say with 100% certainty that they did hack the DNC is a bold claim. The idea that the emails themselves are fake however is downright silly considering how the DNC reacted to them.

the word and is pretty important there

Serious / Re: Obama orders investigation in Russian hacking

The DNC members that stepped down over the wake of that controversy would not have done so if it was fake bullshit made up by Russians.

We're living in unprecedented times. Did Russia at least have an influence via hacks into the DNC and by propagating fake news? Undoubtedly.

When you say "Jesus Fucking Christ" are you saying that like a bad thing or...?

How's $12.99 for 4 sound

I got a six pack for 15 bucks at Target once, he wants you to buy a single pair for $50.

I'd recommend just focusing the story at that point, final quest level is 44.

Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do after I finish getting the Ultima Blade for Noct.

Also OP, here is a video describing the power leveling thing. And another video explaining how to get the Ultima Blade by chapter 3.

Use coins with magic crafting, it gives you fuck tons of EXP on mobs, when you have like 100k exp, spend a night at the inn in Qualdin Quay, it doubles your tally. Furthermore you can buy a fat chocobo decker before using the spells to gain a 50% exp boost.

I'm only on chapter 5 but all my characters are lvl 47.

You can abuse it?

Did you abuse the leveling system at all?

4223
It's on the same level. The Universe and lore took a nose dive when 343 took over. I mean, have you played 5's campaign?

4224
In SE's defense, you can flip the cover to just have the Amano logo instead.

Spoiler

This is the fucking stupidest cover I've ever seen.

I have never met a single person who has acted like that on smoking before.

lol no, people who smoke are usually like "I know this one dude who smoked his whole life, he's eighty now and in fine health. I ain't gonna get no cancer from this."

The Flood / Re: Arguing with older conservatives about legalizing pot
« on: December 07, 2016, 09:50:50 AM »
I'm not saying he's not a hypocrite or that he's in the right, but for 30+ years we've had campaigns against drugs (with some truth to their talk about destroying lives), whereas smoking has been around for eons, and with a campaign backed by the actual tobacco companies. People who smoke tend to understand the health risks associated with it, whereas drug users ignore both the health and social risks.

The irony of his statement was lost on him.

Doesn't Egypt identify itself more with the Middle East than Africa? I mean yeah, geographically speaking it's North Africa, but all it's history and relevancy has been with the Middle East....

4228
I've been doing the endless side content for a while, I know how XV ends since I saw the leak before release but I'm only the chapter where I have to head back to Lesatllum after getting the Regalia back from an imperial base. What's the deal with Chapter 13?

And we can have that without sacrificing stories from games

So why is the gameplay so boring and uninteresting?

What the fuck are you rambling on about

The Uncharted series was amazing because of the gameplay paired with a deep story

The way you're making it sound, any game that tries to have a good story automatically sucks
Which is not the case at all with any of the games you mentioned

What is a "good" game to you if you're going to write off any story as pretension

NaughtyDog has been consistently producing quality games even if not for the story

I'm not writing off any story as overly pretentious, just generic action/adventure ones with nothing but cliches and drama. The Metal Gear series did story and gameplay fantastically before TPP, but that's because Konomi knew they were making a GAME first.

No. I'm calling for a balance that revolves mostly around being fun to play first. The Order 1886 failed for a reason, AAA developers are focusing way too much on making action movies. It's like they're trying to compensate for not being in the movie industry.

You're bashing a game before it's even out... A game that's following up one of the best single player experiences ever made with a great story. I mean, what's wrong with a story? Games need a story of some sort to have some kind of legitimacy or they ultimately fall flat. The days of pong are long over, games have the ability for being fun WHILE having an immersive story. But here you are, sitting in the camp against that progression and calling for games to return to a time when they were unremarkable and cost a nickle to play.
