The House wants to replace the current Ethics committee that has caught three congress members in breaking the law and getting them jailed with a new ethics committee that wont take anonymous complaints and must answer to The House itself whereas the current one is made up of a small group that only answers to a slightly bigger group. Can I get a tl;dr version of this?

Do all the new members just jump onto Skype and Discord? You'd think they would frequent the forums regularly before venturing to the other forms of communication.

As LC said, the length stems from other posts, threads, and time with similar behavior. and alongside behavior in the thread, but two months? A bit over the top.

Supreme Commander utilizes dual screen to create an interesting twist on a typical RTS title. Essentially letting you wage two battles in front of you at the same time. True, not many games use dual screen and some even lock you into one without a borderless windowed option, but the idea is still there. Although I'm not trying to argue with you. My second and third monitor I'm more than willing to admit was out of luxury. I didn't need them, I simply wanted them, and they did make my overall gaming and internet browsing experience more enjoyable. I just wanted to show you an interesting take on having a second screen with gaming. Because the two setups are being used for different purposes. The DS's touch screen wasn't implemented to give the user more workspace--it's there to create a field through which the player can interact with their game in a unique, tactile way which introduces a lot of new innovative mechanics and such. It's not really comparable.

You'll get people that will preach it's perfect no matter what. And the pre-release hype would be a nightmare. tbh I think HL3 coming out and being on the tier of No Man's Sky would be a lot more humbling

Shame it's the only thing it got right. I wonder how that dumbass comic writer feels now knowing Gaben is the one that scrapped HL3 and said Valve is no longer going to work on single player games and barely multiplayer ones. I'm honestly glad HL3 is vaporware, the fan base that so vigorously jacks off to the thought of it are the most obnoxious and arrogant people in any gaming community, and they don't deserve to have their behavior justified. The whole joke about "Lololol it will be the Jesus of video games" is not a joke to a lot of them. They're in need of a good humbling and having their wet dream of a video game be silently canceled will put them in their place. Then you have the truly lost that will spend their entire life thinking it will still come out, they'll teach their kids to wait for this game and only on their death bed at the age of whatever will they realize it will never come out and they'll die feeling like a fucking idiot. It's humorous that a four year old comic ended up predicting the poor reception Halo 5 received.

Alright Verb, here's the challenge: I'm straight-edge, where does that put me? you're thinking of secondclass
i'm better than you because i'm straight-edge--it's possible for me to have fun while sober
if you were straight-edge, you'd be better than most people

Quoted to show Verb is against Gay people having sex. the point at which we deviated beyond "i like regular, vaginal sex with 3D human beings" is the point we should've all killed ourselves tbh

Still is* I'm still subscribed to XI. For the record, I only said FF 12 was MMO tier because the combat was borrowed heavily from FF 11, which WAS the MMO.

Apple is the Nintendo of the computer market. A relic of a bygone era that is only around because of a devoted fanbase that has yet to understand that the product is now shit in comparison to everything else. iPhones are really nice, but if you love tinkering and extreme versatility, Android is definitely the way to go.

Gameplay wise it's a great entry title. Story wise it's a bit convoluted. What about FFXIII? Does everybody pretend that doesn't exist?

I've had you fooled all along Babushka. How on Earth did this thread go from Russian operatives to Ian's ability to live in the Alaskan wilderness?

It's impossible because it'd be hard? If you're instructed right it's possible, but I never said it'd be easy. You're niave if you think you'd fare well up there Ian.

But can we be competitive in the marketplace to bring down prices and innovate? Not with communism. So we'd play fucking video games or some shit. There are ways to sate your carnal desires. Some people masturbate, some people chew gum, some people smoke e-cigs. We can curb our competitive nature.

1. Yes I actually do think I could. All jokes about me being a reptile aside, humanity has lived there for quite some time. It's not just some snowy wasteland. 2. I don't know why you're responding as if I'm putting myself into this "What if" scenario as the only time I've done so was the situation of whether or not I obtained a large amount of money. Do you really think you're physically capable of living in alaska
is that realistic

I never said that, however do you really think the Alaskan government is going to crack down on somebody who's built a small cabin in the woods far from the nearest city? Especially if they have no idea he's there? Oh, so it should be legal for you to do it but no one else?

Because a single person cutting down trees in the middle of nowhere will not affect literally anyone. And he's not going to gather the strength of fending off against aggressive wildlife by eating berries and plants all day. I'm sorry you yourself have never thought about the idea of man being in nature with nothing else and can only see life through modern civilization, but not everybody wants that dip shit. Or hunt.
Or anything he fucking said.
(It's because Ian has spent less than hour critically thinking about this subject.)

VII is nowhere near the best in the series. It's great but not awesome or fantastic. And XII doesn't have a single main character. We'll have to disagree here. 6 or 7, or even 10 is the best in the series, even if 7 is vastly overrated.
The main character for 12 is terrible. Gideon Emery is one of the few saving graces for that MMO that didn't quite make it.

Why should a man be allowed to build his own home? He can just buy one. :^) Why the fuck should people be allowed to cut down trees whenever they want?

What if the person is living only able to provide the bare necessities for himself? Is he bad for not being able to contribute to the society? The things you keep to yourself should only be that which is just enough to sustain your health and existence so that you can continue being a good little helper for your society. Anything else is excessive, self-indulgent, and bad.

Yes, quite obviously.
Hunting is murder, for fucking starters. You're killing sentient organisms for your own benefit.
On a deeper level, you're not offering or contributing anything to society, because you selfishly don't want to be a part of it. It's not that you're "keeping to yourself." You're just lazy and worthless. Verb, this argument started because you said isolating yourself is not the same as being selfish. Now you're saying it is. I'm going to need clarification because you're being confusing with this. Charity should be forced. Everyone should be forced to help each other. At gunpoint. So.....a tax?
