My posts in Serious are negligible in comparison to The Flood, so I'm not in threads in Serious to see Flee supposedly give a dictionary response. So when he does, it's not really a bother to me.

What

More so because I'm never in a thread with really long explanations so it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, because  you need the long explanations.

Gaming / Re: Relatively cheap laptop good enough to run WoW
« on: January 09, 2017, 03:24:38 PM »
WoW was made back in 2001. Even with the graphics update in Cata, a toaster should be able to run it in 30fps. My 2011 laptop ran FFXIV on medium settings in 30fps, I imagine anything now can do WoW at 30.

I never had a problem with your posts tbh.

It's not 5 pages, nor is it an essay in MLA style. Hope I didn't disappoint this time.

Everyone thinks I'm going to just snap or something and then go on a shootout, plz stop. I'm actually quite chill.

Can't say the same about Ian though, I feel like he'd be a wimp if I met him IRL with pent up aggression.

Bruh, it's a fucking hammer. I just need one good whack to your head it's a fucking hammer.

A hammer? That convinces me that I'd win over you in almost every scenario, 'cause you clearly don't know how to fight if you want to use a hammer.

That's why we balance the fight by giving me a hammer.

What, in a fistfight or something? I'd knock you out.

The person there that works the line, I don't work at Chipotle, but when I did basically the same thing at Disney Quest I was a Line-Cast Member. Or are you "wut"ing at the idea of a white guy working at Chipotle.

They don't fancy themselves as vloggers though. That's what they may be ultimately, but they'll swear up and down they're a just as reputable news outlet as CNN. And if they want to appear that way, they need to take a serious inner look on how they handle the news.

TYT aren't reporters though, they're vloggers. Don't let the format kid you into thinking they have some sort of credibility.

The Flood / Re: Stereotype the customers of fast food chains

I get fast food way too much, almost nightly because it's fucking midnight and I when I get off work I don't wanna cook, eat, and then sleep. I just want to eat and sleep afterwards. Especially since I skip lunch. With that being said, it's incredibly hard for me to stereotype fast food customers because I always see such a wide variety of people at a Wendy's or Five Guys. It's surreal.

HOWEVER, I noticed that every time I walk into a Chipotle, the fucking Spanish are the worst. They are the most picky, demanding, and entitled jack offs on the planet. I get it's a Mexican fast food chain, but that doesn't mean all the workers speak Spanish. And holy shit is it fucking annoying to see some middle-aged Hispanic woman with her obese pudgy fat son with the helicopter hat, get upset when a white line worker there doesn't speak Spanish. They always then give that passive-aggressive "I no speak English" then walk out frustrated with a passive-aggressive smile. Fuck them.

The Flood / Re: I loved the new Ghostbusters tbh
« on: January 09, 2017, 02:25:19 PM »
Don't bait SC.

GB2016 was objectively a garbage movie, and it's a sad reflection of the film industry being drowned in political bullshit that RT had to manually give it a "Certified Fresh" rating despite its total reviews saying otherwise about it. I never saw the original Ghostbusters so I had no attachment to it, but the movie already half dug its own grave by being another reboot in a sea of reboots that become nothing more than bargain-bin trash a year after theatrical release. Sony however LITERALLY THOUGHT (all sources confirm this) that it was going to be the next Avengers and it was going to make them a billion dollars, and they not only let self-loathing misandrist Paul Feig direct it, but they doubled down on all the political bullshit that was made up by the fact that it looked like a bad movie.

And I dare anyone to claim I'm a misogynist that only hates it because it's a female-lead movie. I for one loved both Star Wars 7 and Rogue One because their female leads weren't fucking cringey and weren't added for the shear fact that they were female. A movie needs a solid ground to work on but GB2016's only ground was that it was a "Female" Ghostbusters.

They thought it would appeal to everyone, and they were wrong.
They thought it would appeal to the original fans, and that even after insulting them they would come see it anyways, and they were wrong.
They thought it would appeal to families going to pick a film for everyone to see, and the families went and saw The Secret Life of Pets and they were wrong.
They thought the Sci-Fi fans would come see it, they went and saw Star Trek a week later and they were wrong.
They thought their own band of Political hive-mind would come see it, and as bizarre is this is, they were wrong.

Kingsglaive got a better reception than GB2016 did, and Kingsglaive was only a two week tie-in event for a video game coming out two months later and would've been confusing nonsense for anyone not invested in FFXV. That's incredibly sad.

Sony, Paul Feig and the actress gang, and every wannabe professional movie critic needs to learn that the movie was objectively shit, and that trying to say otherwise isn't putting themselves on a higher pedestal. It's making them look like a fucking laughing stock. There's a wannabe film critic on another forum I lurk that claims to teach film in fucking college that sits their and praises the film saying it only failed because of misogyny. I pray for that poster to never speak about the movie in front of his students, cause he will lose a LOT of credibility for pushing political bullshit in a classroom meant to teach fucking film.

Watching shows like Avatar and Samurai Jack is the like only bonding I do with my mother.

Or does not having good familial connections with your parents part of growing up too?

HAHAHA you guys still watch Nickelodeon? Jesus Christ you manchildren need to grow up, or not show up. Just stay inside your basements forever, or be a respectable person who doesn't watch children shows. UNBELIEVABLE

Vampire and Zombie shit were significantly worse. I can at least watch a Marvel movie and not cringe. The general outline of the plot may be formulaic and uninteresting, but it doesn't make me go "God really?" unlike a vampire film. I remember one about six years back where society was nothing but vampires and they farmed humans for blood to drink. The whole idea of the film was just awful, but that was the norm before The Avengers came and made a billion fucking dollars.

but now it is the vampire and zombie garbage

3960
Honestly, with how Capeshit killed vampire and zombie garbage, I'm thankful to it and they can continue indefinitely for all I care.
