When you grow up you realize how school really fucked up your view of society and how you're expected to continue up a ladder that doesn't exist. You need to learn to make your own goals and finder the ladder for that before climbing it.

What exactly do you think Russia is going to do with damning evidence against Trump? Invade Ukraine? Crush the US economy? They're not threatening in anyway.

What the hell are you on about? We're talking about golden showers and you come put of left field with this.

@ Anti-DP: The idea of second chance for the criminal can not be entertained when second chance was not offered to the victim.

There are certain individuals in society who simply have no right existing in it, and must be removed.

Russia is a whimpering animal backed into the corner lashing out in fear; they could started firing the fuel for a nuclear missile aimed at Kissimmee and I would still sit back and not flinch. Putin may have balls but he's not fucking stupid. Anything serious coming out of Russia will incur the wrath of European forces, in which case I can say that some good finally came from my globalist enemies. The only thing he'll get out of blackmailing Trump would just help them slightly economically after the Crimea sanctions. Either that or help Assad win his Civil War in which case, so fucking what? The US has no reason to even be involved in the Middle East.

Yoshi said not to worry about it. The amount of buttons we'll be pressing will stay the same, it's just certain abilities will be removed or swapped with others.

Removing skills and streamlining the rotations. For example, my Hunter on WoW. I basically press 3 buttons. That's it.

Pruning?

I agree it's too time consuming. I don't even have much time for XIV as it is already. I was mainly pointing out the social aspect though, and pruning, which I hope they don't do too much with Stormblood.

A bitter keep-sake of Neo-Bungie to show what they were once and to pound within us the cruel reality that we're never going back.

I'm wondering why they still have the halo.bungie.net url running, it's only a broken archive if nothing else.

After playing WoW for a bit, I looked on to all the forums and posts about Pre-cata WoW, everyone pretty much says the same thing they say about XI and RS. MMO's back then are too time-consuming for people's lives now, and I have to say I kind of agree. When I graduated HS I used some of my grad money on Toontown because I used to play it a lot back in grade school and it hasn't changed much content wise. While the game was stupid easy, it was still a heavy heavy grind and I wouldn't have made the progress I did in that game if I had the job and social life I do now.

My best friend opted out and going to see his Aunt because his Linkshell was doing a weekend event back when XI was still very popular. He didn't know that was going to be the last time he could've saw her before she died of some illness. He's not loosing sleep over it or punishing himself with unjust guilt because there was no way he could've known, but with the way MMOs are now, he could've been able to do both. I imagine with WoW having such a substantially larger player base, I'm sure there's thousands of other players that have had similar experiences, and all the posts I see now while they do admit the social aspect is kind of gone, the ability to play and enjoy the game with a group of friends is still there.

And I wouldn't say the lack of socializing is something that's only plaguing WoW and MMOs, it's merely a symptom of an issue affecting people in games all together. It wasn't unusual in Halo 2 and 3 to have people talking with their mic while playing. Now in 4 and 5, I have to mute everyone because it's always someone intentionally making noise in their headset to piss people off.

Runescape is still pretty popular. And it's not just the grinding that some people want back. Over the year abilities have been pruned to the point to where rotations are stupid easy, LFD and LFR destroyed the social aspect of the game, etc...

Some Destiny avatars were released right before the major overhaul, before we even knew what Destiny really was going to be.

Wait, how did Abelsinh have a Destiny emblem for an avatar back on b.old?

Nostalrius was the most popular private server that only went up to WoTLK (I think, either that or BC) content. Basically most private server players shun everything Cataclysm brought to WoW, even the good stuff.

I don't even know what Nostalrius is, I just feel the nostalgia meme about the 2.4.3 private server era.

>Le Nostalrius saved WoW meme

Why would anyone want to play vanilla WoW? No one has the time for the grind a classic MMO has anymore. It's one of the main reasons FFXI had to change its formula, why WoW scrapped it completely, and why Runescape became a no-name MMO. Yeah, WoD really fucked up WoW with Twitter and Garrison bullshit, but forcing people to slog through endless bullshit isn't fun.

Why play WoW anymore? The golden age of private servers is dead ;_;

Serious discussion isn't even in Serious, why would you expect it on The Flood?

It's like these that make serious discussion a novelty.

If you can break away from all the bullshit behind the scenes it was pretty enjoyable. I've watched it a couple times now
