It'll probably still be in the thousands, but not anywhere near $22k. That's not a price point on the product since it's a bounty reward, there won't be estimates until it nears its public release, which won't occur until Razer gets its prototypes back. Once this laptop gets produced would the top of the line model cost almost half of that reward or at least in the five digit range?

....Then found in a Chinese version of Ebay for $22,000. TL;DR without reading: Razer showcased their new prototype laptop which featured three screens, codenamed Project Valerie. Two of their models were stolen at a booth in in the CES show, and less than a week after the CEO of Razer offered a reward for the whereabouts of the tech, it shows up on a Chinese pawn shop for $22k.

Unless Leia was planned to die in VIII and not appear in IX long before her health deteriorated, it might not be resolved. Principle photography for VIII ended before Rogue One was even done. I wonder how they will resolve her story if she doesn't die in VIII.

Nothing I saw in their event really made me want to go out and preorder a Switch. It's just another gimmicky console followed by Nintendo pretending they were at E3 with no competition. The only thing that really surprised me was not region locking their system, but even then that's more of a criticism on all game consoles beforehand. I also look at most of those 80 third party developers and see nothing but shovel-ware being released from most of them.

He lived during civil unrest yes, but there was a government in place, and he wasn't around thousands of years beforehand to see if out tribal primitive selves were killing each other sadistically. We were small wandering groups that would hunt just to survive, attacking your own people would be counterproductive. And the whole point I wanted to bring up (one that Verb refused to even entertain in the previous thread about this subject) is that just because someone disconnects himself from society, and refuses to be apart of the contract that has been put in place, does NOT make him any more dangerous to that group. The only reason you think this is true is because you live in a society which has third-party institutions to enforce order. A society where the social contract between individuals already exists and is enforced. Lacking those institutions, yes, we are a pretty violent species. Not only because apes are naturally violent, but because we would have to be in order to defend ourselves, our properties and our reputations.

The fact that we have the capacity to choose means we're not mindless beasts destined to kill each other. We don't need a supreme authority to tell us not to; having Empathy is a common thing in almost every human. When we went over the book back when I was still in college, my professor contrasted Leviathan with a book written by another individual I think a century later, I can't remember the name of it at the moment but if I do I'll mention it, but it basically was the exact opposite of Hobbe's line of thinking. We are though
Humans are inherently violent, we just have the capacity to choose to behave otherwise.
