Games coming out though will eventually be better optimized for it no? the difference between the pro and the normal ps4 isn't enough to justify it, especially since most games so far have actually been running worse on the pro and the "4k" is worthless to anyone who doesn't have a tv or monitor to support it

I don't see how anyone could weigh the risks in such a way where they just ignore them. That is way too scary for me to even entertain the idea of trying. I'm not sure if people do it intentionally, it's more a byproduct of taking too much psychedelics.

So I tried one of my videos on WMM and yeah I must have done something to the previous one because the resolution is fine on this one. However WMM did completely drop the FPS on it though. All my videos recorded on Shadowplay are recorded at 60fps and the video on WMM I can tell isn't even hitting 30. EDIT: Fixed the framerate issue. All I need is a mic that isn't shit and I can finally start doing commentaries. Thanks so much BB! By default the PS4 saves up to 15 mins but if you go into the settings you can actually up the limit to an hour I believe.

I'll have to retry, good thing I have plenty of videos saved from my FFXIV runs. Does the PS4 have a time limit on how long it can record? And thanks for answering these questions; I'm not trying to be the next JonTron or Mr. Happy, I just wanted to upload gameplay videos with commentary over them. But since Adobe is really jewing people out of their money ($500+ for a video editing program plus a subscription to continue using it) I've almost completely given up. I thought the one I uploaded with the AMA was fine. You get the option to save it in high quality, maybe you chose to save it in low q?

Doesn't movie maker completely butcher the resolution though? I mean, I haven't tried it with a downloaded Youtube video but I tried uploading my gameplay videos that I recorded on my PC with Nvidia Shadowplay and the resolution became horrendous, I could hardly tell what was going on. I recorded the clip with PS4 then uploaded to Youtube, then downloaded the MP4. I then opened the MP4 in movie maker and added my voice clip as a music file over the video.

Yeah I got it, that's a big help thanks. And what did you use to put the audio on a video? Windows Sound Recorder came with my laptop. Just type in 'sound recorder' and it'll be in your programs, well it should be anyway.

God damn I had the image I swear I saved it. If someone else can post it please do but there's an image of a comic 343i did (Halo: Escalation) where in the story Chief destroys a piece of Gamma Halo to finally kill the Didact. The strip that shows the section of Gamma Halo disconnecting was the most laughably bad thing in the entire comic. 343i probably realized this because the image of the strip itself seems to have been completely purged online.
