The official prologue to the movie. I like the little "Foods not that bad" line making its way back from the original 1979 film. I also like the huge cast of characters that will be complete fodder for the Xenomorphs. Don't like the jarring conversations though, even before they started drinking it was hard to tell that this wasn't a trailer from the way the shots were made.

Whereas TTGL never took itself seriously at all, Code Geass doesn't know whether or not to take itself seriously. One episode is stupid high school antics and the next one is literally "MUH WAR AND WE WERE KNIGHTS N SHEEIITT!" It's just a stupid fucking roller coaster of nonsense but it was still one Hell of a wild ride when I first watched it. i could probably do eva since it's (apparently) supposed to be the citizen kane of anime, and it's important or whatever
