So I'm going to get this out of the way: yes I fucked up big time with this but I was unaware of what "Coil Whine" was until it was too late.
So after I built my computer a little over a year, I had a habit of leaving it on when I went to bed. My reasoning was that purple noise (the sound of like an AC or fan running) calms me and helps me sleep, I also sometimes have a middle of the night piss and having the lights on the computer helped me get my bearings in the dark immediately so I don't slam my head against anything. So my computer would be on for months on end without interruption. This really didn't do anything other than increase the dust build up but I get compressed air regularly so that wasn't much of an issue.
A couple of days ago I noticed high pitched chirps started coming from my computer. I checked temps, and everything ran fine so as far as actual performance, everything was normal. The noise is just downright fucking annoying, It's fucking loud as shit and hits sporadically. After testing my computer running with various fans off (including CPU fan) and my video card out, I was able to pin point the problem being my PSU. It has coil whine and based off what I've gathered, once you get it, it doesn't really ever go away. The computer runs perfectly fine but this chirping noise hits completely randomly and it's so fucking annoying and loud. Basically if I want to be free of the silence I have to buy a whole new PSU, so now I have to budget a $114 PSU before Stormblood hits in June.
TL;DR: I never turned my computer off and now I have coil whine in my PSU, either I live with an unbearable noise or I spend $114 on a new power supply.

That doesn't make him any less of a hypocrite. Going and getting himself killed is the EXACT opposite of what he told Faye to do literally two episodes earlier. spike had horrible ptsd. his actions totally make sense for someone who went through what he did

I don't like Cowboy Bebop and neither should you. Let's cut to the chase, Spike was not a good character, he was a bitch, Spike was a selfish loser. He purposefully let his whole team down to chase after some whore who gets herself killed and he ends up biting collateral. That's not a badass, that's a hopeless romantic that's not living in the sane world. He is basically the anime version of Forest Gump. He ignored his own advice he gave to his friends and charged into a huge problem blindly when he could've just walked away from his past like he was doing for the entirety of the series but he decides to throw everything away. I can not fathom why people applaud a loser worse than Forest cause at least Forest was retarded. Spoiler Real opinion: I love Cowboy Bebop but I do still find Spikes actions in the end a huge blow to the entire series and he was being a huge hypocrite.

How the hell does Ni No Kuni have bad graphics? Are you drunk?
2630
« on: April 26, 2017, 06:46:33 PM »
But graphics is entirely dependent on what kind of visuals you're aiming for. Ni No Kuni for example has what would be considered "poor" graphics but it still looks phenominal because what you're seeing is what the creators intended the game to look like. That isn't the discussion. Don't start with this "art style" autism. I'm talking cold hard graphics.

>2017 >Not realizing that graphics takes a back seat to art style
I mean yeah, if the game is trying to make a somewhat realistic world you're going to need a bar to set graphically speaking; but most games that have a specific art style don't need demanding graphics and still look amazing.

Also Oreimo would've been a masterpiece if it wasn't for the MC ignoring the advice from the best girl in the show and didn't choose to be a degenerate.

I haven't watched any new Gundam titles since Unicorn, unfortunately I couldn't tell you. All I know about post-Unicorn Gundam is that anything Tomino makes is garbage. Yo Ian is Build Fighters any good?

So much for gearing alt jobs...why couldn't you be on Aether?! Your guys data center lags me! Also the art and story teams cite XII as their inspiration when they originally started development. Hence why they have Akihiko Yoshida make promotional artwork constantly. As for the game, I'm (we're) waiting for the expansion. There isn't much to do anymore until then.
And I'd say FF 11 is what inspired 14, considering it was the MMO and there are references from it, to FF 14.

If Macron wins he better do something to to empower police and not say stupid shit like "Terrorism is just a fact of life we have to live with" or there will be a legitimate Far-Right reaction in the next election.
