WHM has always been the awkward healer, they buff the ever loving fuck out of all their attacks to the point where they're the highest DPS wise out of the three healers, but they consistently cave in to Netflix healers and adjust the class to accommodate them. All the while dancing around the issue of having to tell them they should DPS, so now they try to create this bullshit middle-ground which just fucks over the class even more. I dont get WHM. Your offensive spells cost like 1/10th of your MP to cast so its almost better to not deal damage at all if the tank is being sanic. And i dont feel right just sitting idly by only healing.
Lucid Dreaming and Ether only extend it for like one extra pull. Is this just the way it is or what?

I'm a lancer at heart and I've always gone for the Lancer/Dragoon job as my main every time, but Yoshi really fucking castrated us with Stormblood. I thought it was going to be fine at first, but then I realized all those buffs to our GCDs was just to balance out the fact that we no longer get Internal Release, Phlebotomize, or Power Surge. DRG just straight up plays like shit at lvl 70. Traitors get the lance.
