My birthday is in two and a half weeks, and this will be the second time ever I'll be spending it with friends having fun. I never really celebrated it before because:

>First B-Day after graduating I was a literal NEET who laid around in bed all day while everyone else in the house worked/had school.
>Worked 12 hours shifts the next two B-Days
Last year was the first B-Day I went out with friends and had fun, I don't really count going out to dinner with my family as celebrating because we do that all the time anyways. It's weird seeing how things change in such a short amount of time.

Something about a gasket being out. Whenever I would start my car, the RPM would jump a bit before settling and I could smell gasoline for a few seconds. I also needed new front tires. And $200 was just on diagnostics. I can't afford anything more but they also told me my brakes are down to 2mm and my front tires aren't aligned so that's even more repairs in the near future. What happened to your car?

If it will calm Verb down, I've since not had such a wallpaper because I let others use my phone regularly now, but back then no one ever touched my phone ever. When I worked Lost & Found, I had to go through people's phones on a daily basis. I saw far worse as wallpapers than what I had. sure it's your phone, but it's something you use in public. you're just asking for weird shit to happen if you put naked people as your wallpaper.

I remember years ago I was getting a ride back from class from my dad and a random girl asked if she could use my phone so she could call her parents. I gave her my phone, she called, handed it back, and left pretty quickly, I didn't think anything of it.
It wasn't until a few hours later that I remembered I had a picture of Shiina from Sakurasou naked as my home wallpaper because I just finished the show.

I currently order my pizza from a hole in the wall place which makes INSANELY good pizza, but before that when I was younger my family was quite the regulars with the local Pizza Hut. Honestly their pizzas were better in the past before online ordering became a thing and they started going overboard with their menu.

The rejection itself wouldn't bother me so much, sure it would sting like a mother fucker but the grueling awkwardness that'll be there afterwards is what keeps my mouth shut half the time. Despite everyone involved being in agreement that no one wants things to be awkward afterwards, it's an inevitability half the time. dignity, confidence, time, and the will to continue looking for other girls can all be lost by getting rejected
it's just not that easy for some people to "move on"
and then you have people like me, who get told things like that, and then actively search for reasons to get emotionally destroyed, because it's more satisfying to be right
