Melkor did nothing wrong.

stop being edgy, he had a lot of chances and just chose to do evil shit wherever he could'

Not to mention the entire first eight hours were hilariously crazy. Best day of work ever.

Sick burn, did you have to pay Verb to come up with it?

We're all aware of your spinal issue😂😂😂😂😂

You hit the nail on the head for everything except how the music created Middle-Earth. Iluvatar created Middle-Earth afterwards and showed the Ainur that the music they had made (not the music that he had necessarily planned) helped shape the events/time/flow of history/whatever in the world and that even Melkor's """disharmony""" did fuck all and was apart of Iluvatar's grand vision or plan or whatever. Essentially Iluvatar chastised Melkor for literally no reason because either A. Melkor's own song did fuck all anyways or B. It was Iluvatar's plan all along. The latter of which is what's told in the book.

Either way Iluvatar is a selfish prick.

Pretty sure I got one or two of those details wrong.

Jokes on you, I have a spinal issue according to the Air Force so I can't be conscripted.

On the bright side, if there's a third world war half of you fuckers will get conscripted and die on the frontlines. :D

Who's really in the wrong? Melkor for singing his own song and creating """disharmony""" in the music (which didn't amount to anything significant anyways), or Iluvatar for not letting Melkor just sing his own song? I'd argue the latter; what's with Gods and thinking they're all high and mighty? Would it kill them to be a little more humble?

Just pit scars that I can't really do anything about. My parents warned me about them back in high school when I had really bad acne, but there insistence on spending more than necessary on acne medication (and the types I hated to boot) made me all the more adamant on refusing to do anything about it.

What cosmetic problems have you had recently?

The war is essentially over, Assad has won. Why would his regime do the one thing that would justify regime change in the wake of their factual victory? If the US government/media wants regime change for their own interests/agenda fine, whatever; but for the love of God they're doing a piss job at trying to sell it to me or anyone else for that matter. Can anyone here honestly say they want the US to be involved in this shitshow?

I like that solution too, although that would come with a lot of bitching from undesirables.

The solution is to just let a fucking computer screen take my order and have a robot fry my mcnuggets.

The Flood / Re: SecondClass shaming thread
« on: April 11, 2018, 11:06:51 PM »
So the solution is to just kill off welfare queens right?

Fast food and Walmart employees are the most subsidized (by tax dollars) labor forces in the nation. The entire demographic regularly pulls out more than they give in (although that's attributed to the disproportionate amount of single mothers employed).
Supporting businesses like McDicks or BK is essentially promoting a welfare state.

You could say that about any industry worker; it's all only meaningful combined.

and an infinitesimal fraction goes to anything worthwhile

They pay taxes.

you contribute nothing positive

fast food workers are only holding society back

you are negatively affecting society

SEED and Unicorn MGs have a few that follow what you're looking for, I'd suggest checking HobbyLinkJapan under those criteria.

also >implying that ian has more gunpla than me

Yeah I don't doubt that you have more. I only have eight, five of which aren't even put together.

i wound up appreciating it more on the rewatch

It's definitely an interesting series.

shinji still makes me want to die though, i don't think i'll ever forget that thing he did in the last movie

Shinji is by far one of my most favorite if not my absolute favorite fictional character. Probably because I see so much of myself in him, it's easy for me to put myself in his story because I can completely relate to his struggles and challenges.

"That" scene in EoE was meant to show just how broken he was. Yes, it was a disgusting thing to do, and he even admitted to it, but you have to understand all the shit that he just went through. His friend is a clone of his dead mom, his guardian tried to fuck him, he was forced to kill the only person that showed him any compassion. It's hard to walk away from all that and not be fucked up in some way.

Entertainment would be very boring if I couldn't poke fun at the things I love.

i distinctly remember you recommending me to watch it because you wanted me to shit on it or something

I hope you’re not referring to me. Eva is a show I hold very close to my heart and I’m glad it wasn’t tainted by being in this flick.

@Napalm: I groaned at it for the same reason people groaned at the Iron Giant being in the movie. It’s a shitty marketing ploy that funnily enough the movie itself insults halfway through.

i thought you didn't like eva anyway

1. I'm not quitting life, and I never did pick up alcohol (more thanks to Flee and the positive reinforcement over the insults)

2. It did go somewhere, it went into the fucking trash and I have no idea why. On three different occasions she told me she would be blunt with me and she didn't, she completely betrayed my trust and let the one thing I was terrified of happening happen.

He's been real hit & miss this last decade or so.

I really want to understand why one of the greatest directors in film history decided to do a movie based on a middling litRPG novel.

There was unironic clapping whenever Tracer and the Spartan-IIs appeared. Everyone just stayed silent when the Gundam appeared to fight Mecha-Godzilla, but cheered when the Iron Giant came back into the fight. The choreography was surprisingly good but I still was displeased throughout the scene.

Did you clap when you saw the reference?

It was trash, damn near walked out of the theater when I saw the RX-78 appear. How dare they taint Gundam; at least Eva was spared.

AMA I guess.

>What was the point in the opening cutscene with Halsey and Cortana?
>What the fuck was the point in the Janus Key?
>Why did ONI go from trying to kill Halsey to rescuing her?
>If the composer is gone, how are there still all these Prometheans around? Surely The Flood wouldn't have been an issue if the Didact had that many beforehand.
>Why did no one from either Blue Team or Osiris help Chief/Locke respectively during their 1v1? Blue Team was trying to do everything to help Chief and Osiris had orders.
>How is there still enough Covenant for a civil war on Sanghelios? You would think after the events of Halo 3, they would've splintered heavily.
>Why bother bringing back Cortana in the first place? It completely throws away any defense Halo 4 had for it's story over Chief being more "human".
>Why would you tie integral parts of the story to outside media? The player shouldn't need to do homework to understand the story of the game, even if it does start In Medias Res.
>Why is this game so fucking bad?

I would argue what it evokes should be worse considering there were people that got fucking bayonetted after hearing it.

because of what it evokes

banzai doesn't evoke anything in particular

it pays well not to be literal-minded
