I don't understand the question? He was 53, I was 19 at the time. you're about my age. How far apart were you from your father's age that such things that haven't killed the majority of boomers killed him?

My father died of colon cancer four years ago.
It sucked hard when it all happened, but the longer it's been the more I think about him and realize he wasn't exactly a great father and I just feel anger and resentment towards him. Like I try to think about all the good times I had with him, but then it gets drowned out by the memories of him yelling at me when I did nothing wrong, criticizing decisions I made, and generally just being kind of an asshole, coupled with the fact that he was obese, drank, and smoked; it's hard to keep a positive view of him. As cruel as it sounds, he essentially brought his death upon himself with his lifestyle.
I don't know how my feelings on him will be in the future, but one thing is for certain: If I ever raise a child, I will make sure to never be anything like he was in terms of being a father.

Is this some new level of Meta humor that I’m not getting cause I’ve been dark for so long?

They specifically said about a week or two. They have one open position now but they will have one or two other open positions in the next two weeks hence why they said a week or two, but that they will definitely be reaching out to me within that time frame. When do you find out? Did they just say after other interviews or they give a timeframe?

My last interview was only 15 minutes, lots of silence and quick short responses, and a half blank resume.
This one was 35-40 minutes, long detailed stories, a full page resume on resume paper, and both interviewers telling me I did exceptionally well, looked sharp, provided great answers/questions, and that I had the experience they wanted. Basically telling me I had the job without actually telling me that because they went through the whole "We have other candidates we have to interview as well" spiel and that they'll give me their answer soon.

I was thinking about this a few months back. I was honestly expecting Ginsburg to retire first, this was definitely surprising.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shing%C5%8D,_Aomori#Local_attractionsWhen Jesus Christ was 21 years old, he came to Japan and pursued knowledge of divinity for 12 years. He went back to Judea at age 33 and engaged in his mission. However, at that time, people in Judea would not accept Christ's preaching. Instead, they arrested him and tried to crucify him on a cross. His younger brother, Isukiri casually took Christ's place and ended his life on the cross.
Christ, who escaped the crucifixion, went through the ups and downs of travel, and again came to Japan. He settled right here in what is now called Herai Village, and died at the age of 106.
On this holy ground, there is dedicated a burial mound on the right to deify Christ, and a grave on the left to deify Isukiri.
The above description was given in a testament by Jesus Christ. Discuss

This is for the best, their recent policing was so out of place with what they’ve been known for. I don’t like Valve/Steam but this is a step in the right direction.
Well, provided this isn’t a troll story.

>Mordred Eeeeuuuggghhh Also how can you love Artoria so much when she's so cold to Mordred who is legitimately the most adorable thing in the entire Nasuverse.

In the grand scheme of things you're absolutely right; however I go to the movies at least once a week and the difference between when I go to a regular screening of whatever and a screening of an anime/Japanese limited release movie is like night and day. I still remember the time I went to see Kingsglaive in theaters and it was a full house, a guy that worked there said to huddle up so everyone can have a seat and then he said "You can ask the people next to you which Final Fantasy is your favorite" and suddenly everyone took that as a green light to yell random numbers between 1 & 14 as loud as possible. I still have PTSD from seeing Bleach in theaters. It really doesn't sound like anything too offensive.

I still can't get over the fact that I didn't mind it all when Spoiler Sakura essentially told Saber to fuck off when she came back home with an injured Shirou.

I'd also like to see the numbers of this poll. As I said in the previous thread, Sakura was pretty strong from a narrative standpoint but Saber has always out-shined the other two in the polls and I'd like to see if that made a difference numerically.

AMC at Disney Springs.... What kind of commie theater did you go to that has assigned seating?
1227
« on: June 06, 2018, 03:47:49 AM »
I mean... It's her route. She's also terrible in the first two routes so logic would dictate that terribleness would be tripled in her own route. >amc >high end
stop that I haven't seen an AMC outside of Disney & Universal so I don't know what the others are like but those two are very very nice.

I didn't know everyone was adopting it. AMC at Disney Springs has it but Regal at The Loop doesn't. nigga the movie theater chain in az is like 7.50 a ticket and they give assigned seating, its a new thing everyone is adopting

Most higher-end theaters these days ask you to choose your seat when buying your ticket so that everyone is guaranteed a spot when going to see a movie. Assigned seat?

As a die-hard Saber fanboy, someone who hated the HF route in the VN, and wasn't very happy with the UBW adaptation by UFOTable.....I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie. Sakura shockingly stole the show and was the strongest of the cast. All the major characters get plenty of screentime (except for maybe Tohsaka), and music/animation was alright. The movie suffers from most anime adaptation movies where they rush through a lot of important stuff, if someone doesn't know the general idea of the story going in they're going to be lost. Are you liking the movie at least?
