In the grand scheme of things you're absolutely right; however I go to the movies at least once a week and the difference between when I go to a regular screening of whatever and a screening of an anime/Japanese limited release movie is like night and day.

I still remember the time I went to see Kingsglaive in theaters and it was a full house, a guy that worked there said to huddle up so everyone can have a seat and then he said "You can ask the people next to you which Final Fantasy is your favorite" and suddenly everyone took that as a green light to yell random numbers between 1 & 14 as loud as possible.

I still have PTSD from seeing Bleach in theaters.

I'd also like to see the numbers of this poll. As I said in the previous thread, Sakura was pretty strong from a narrative standpoint but Saber has always out-shined the other two in the polls and I'd like to see if that made a difference numerically.

I haven't seen an AMC outside of Disney & Universal so I don't know what the others are like but those two are very very nice.

Most higher-end theaters these days ask you to choose your seat when buying your ticket so that everyone is guaranteed a spot when going to see a movie.

Just got back from the movie.

It's more obnoxiousness than anything. Although this crowd was MUCH more polite than the crowd for when I saw Kingsglaive, and every crowd is better than the one I got when I went to see the first Bleach movie a decade ago.

So is it just their presence disturbing you?
