My roommates don't do the dishes when they use them and I refuse to clean the dishes for them so I'm forced to eat out literally every night.

Jesus Ian, how much do you eat out? I can only name like the whooper from burger king the McChicken, cheeseburger, and big mac from mcdonalds

Serious / Chipotle having ANOTHER illness outbreak

Quote
Health officials have inspected three Chipotle restaurants in Powell, Ohio, following reports from customers who said they got sick after eating at the restaurants.

In two of the restaurants, inspectors found boxes of raw chicken "leaning" on other packaged foods, according to health records.

The violations come as Chipotle has spent millions of dollars on measures to improve food safety.

The Delaware General Health District on Thursday found "boxes of raw chicken partially leaning onto boxes of packaged foods" at the Chipotle restaurant at 9733 Sawmill Parkway that's at the center of a suspected illness outbreak, according to health records. The proximity of the raw chicken to other foods presented a risk of contamination, the report said.

Following a visit to another Chipotle, at 8695 Owenfield Dr., on Wednesday, inspectors wrote that a "box of raw chicken" was "observed up against boxes of unopened beans and very close to ready-to-eat items."

Inspectors also found foods that were not being held at proper temperatures.

In an emailed statement to Business Insider, a Chipotle spokeswoman, Laurie Schalow, said: "Food safety is our number one priority and we are proud of the industry leading practices and training we have in place across our system. These instances where two SEALED packaged products were next to each other in the walk-in refrigerator were immediately remedied."

DGHD said late Thursday that it had received 703 calls and emails concerning potential illnesses stemming from the Chipotle restaurant on Sawmill Parkway. Officials have tested customers' stool samples but have not identified a source of the suspected illness outbreak and are conducting further testing. The location temporarily shut down on Monday for cleaning and reopened on Tuesday. No customers who ate at the restaurant since Tuesday have reported becoming ill.

DGHD has also received three reports of possible illnesses stemming from two other Chipotle locations — the restaurant on Owenfield Drive and another at 1710 Columbus Pike — prompting inspections of both.

I'm probably gonna get a lot of flak for this, but I'm definitely one of those loyal customer type people; I used to eat at Chipotle twice a week. As much as I love their food and think they're a great company, I can;t help but find this hilarious, they can't seem to catch a break with their health code problems.

In other restaurant news: McDonald's new burger is surprisingly not shit, Taco Bell Nacho Fries are still badass, the Outback near my house now delivers, and I'm one visit away from a free appetizer at Hooters.

I don't know how much love they're gonna give her seeing how she's gonna be sharing screen time with three other monsters and Ghidora is shaping up to be the big baddie.

You think they're gonna have Mothra's twin fairies in this universe?

The Flood / Re: Ian, where the hell are you?

From Wikipedia:

"Viral marketing for the movie shows that Mothra retains her status as a creature dignified as a angelic-like Goddess, referred to as the Queen of the Monsters; whether or not Infant Island is involved is yet to be determined. "

Looks like time will tell on how 100% faithful she will be but it looks like they're trying.

The only monster origin I'm worried about though is Mothra.

I'm not going to doubt that intelligence agency's claim of manipulation in the election. But I really wish they did go into detail about how exactly they did "hack" it. Like, did they actually tap into the electronic ballets of states and manipulate the electronic votes? Or did they just post dank memes on Facebook?

It was good up until the end, I hope it's salvaged in Episode IX but seeing how fucking JJ Abrams is now behind that I doubt it. What made it good is that they were good foils to each other and brought Rey off her Mary Sue pedestal a little ("You're nothing, you come from nothing, your parents sold you off when you were little"). However, they threw it all out the window at the end; apparently it's wrong to learn hard truths and not glue yourself to the past among other things. Completely vilifying him and making him out to be 100% in the wrong/the bad guy throws away his humanity and what makes us relate to him as a character, what makes us LIKE him, because he did a damn good job of that for the entirety of the film; he was the only character that did that. He's just that dumb evil Sith we can't relate to now, they took away the moral grey from him and her, throwing their dynamic out the window.

Kylo and Rey's dynamic is the best part of the film

Visuals were nice, great camera work, unfortunately that's all I can say about it positively.

Oh and Kylo did literally nothing wrong, not even fucking memeing here.

Uhh, I thought it was pretty great after the first half.

I don't understand the question? He was 53, I was 19 at the time.

you're about my age. How far apart were you from your father's age that such things that haven't killed the majority of boomers killed him?

My father died of colon cancer four years ago.

It sucked hard when it all happened, but the longer it's been the more I think about him and realize he wasn't exactly a great father and I just feel anger and resentment towards him. Like I try to think about all the good times I had with him, but then it gets drowned out by the memories of him yelling at me when I did nothing wrong, criticizing decisions I made, and generally just being kind of an asshole, coupled with the fact that he was obese, drank, and smoked; it's hard to keep a positive view of him. As cruel as it sounds, he essentially brought his death upon himself with his lifestyle.

I don't know how my feelings on him will be in the future, but one thing is for certain: If I ever raise a child, I will make sure to never be anything like he was in terms of being a father.
