I've been playing nothing but Halo 3 BTB Slayer and all I ever get is Sandbox with a little bit of Last Resort. I haven't played Avalanche since before Match Composer came out. Speaking of which, last night I searched just Halo 3 in hopes of playing the elusive Sandtrap/Avanlanche heavies. Of course I only got one game of Standoff heavies and had to put my entire team of troglodytes on my back, going 35-8, but losing 100-87

It got worse as the game progressed, it was 8v7 and two of my teammates left near the beginning and another two were AFK, I was the only guy on my team that went positive and got 30 kills that match. But seriously folks, FUCK LAST RESORT. Pretty good, too bad you got fucked over by the stupid Slayer spawns on this map and had the whole enemy team spawn right next to you

Last Resort & Rat's Nest is also in 4v4 with Valhalla; I know there's plenty of them laying around but I really wish those maps were guaranteed BR starts. If the enemy gets map control it's really hard to break out with a magnum and AR. Valhalla doesn't even have a lot of them on the map, if you're spawning in the cliffs you're fucked.

Fuck that, I’m not in the business of having my K/D unfairly raped.
The MCC population is so small that you will match with the same people over and over again for multiple matches and recognize their names, playstyle, and other people they’re partied up with.

I get off fairly early compared to usual today so I could've celebrated with family but they all went to the pan handle to see extended family without me so it's another year of me being alone when I get home. It's fine though, I kind of just go on thinking like this isn't even a holiday. Working

I don't doubt that you do play more, I only recently got back into Halo cause I resubscribed to XBL. I'm just saying that before this, I didn't think there was a quit ban at all despite the warnings on the Leave screen saying that there was. I'm sure 343 will hear about this new system in their MCC feedback thread and I'm also sure that there match composer will likely be more refined in the future, for now I'm just happy I can choose to make my own BTB playlist with Halo 2A, 3, & 4. But I'm still really really pissed about them adding Valhalla to 4v4. I've likely played significantly more MCC matchmaking then you have. Much of the quitting lessened when the september update came out. Quitting is still rampant because of lopsided games. Full teams should match teams, that's how it worked in halo 2 and 3. Nobody enjoys playing against a full team of halo 3 50s that play like their life is on the line. If I'm in a 3v4 or a 5v8 against a full team, I'm dipping, I shouldn't be punished heavily because the system does not give singles and duo teams a fair chance to play a game.
Also the other day, Jono and I had THREE straight games where half the people in the game were kicked out at the start of the match, turning the games into 3v5s or 2v4s. It's a good thing this happened before this update otherwise I would have been banned for 24 hours because this four year old games is still a steaming pile of dog shit.
No one at 343 plays this game because they would see this and not result in such outrageous kneejerk reactions.

Were you playing MCC recently before this? The game had a massive quit problem with players, I played roughly five-seven matches every day for a week and I can count the number of times I had a game where no one quit the whole week on one hand and still have fingers left over. I quit too because I knew there was no consequences when I leave a game where it was me against 8 in BTB because the rest of my team quit on me; the leave button warned of a quit ban but I never saw one. I'm not defending the incredibly strict punishment we have now, but it was getting really out of hand before. wtf did 343 do to MCC now. Social you just pick the games and gametypes you want now. Also you get banned for 10 minutes when you quit one game, yeah thanks 343 for punishing people when they don't want to play against a team of sweatys.
