Thankfully I have largely recovered from a bad case of strep throat before today.
It was very enjoyable. We talked about our favorite movies (she loved The Empire Strikes Back too), our hobbies, and so forth. It was nice, I felt very comfortable talking to her, and was happy to make a new friend at the very least.
Then I woke up.

I am thinking about going; I've never been to a concert before. Problem is I don't know of anyone I could go with, and I don't want to go alone.
Finally stopped procrastinating and finished painting my Black Templar Sword Brother, with the exception of a couple tiny details. Now all I have to do is apply terrain to the base, do some detail work on the sword, and apply a matte lacquer spray to the miniature.
I haven't kept up with updates for a long time; has there been any notable progress?
Did the development completely crash when Rocket left?
I bought a copy a long time ago, and now have a decent PC that could actually run it well. I was wondering if it's even worth trying out again.

It's the last season, which isn't all that surprising given how close we're getting to RO/ANH.
So help me if Thrawn dies I will drive to Lucasfilm, barge into the lobby and scream "REEEEEEEEEEEEEE" until I'm removed by security.

Earlier, TBlocks and I were discussing the factor of race as it applies to how attractive we find others. I said that, while on average I am mostly attracted to Caucasian women, I find pretty colored women to be extremely attractive, to a greater degree than attractive white women.
This is a good example. In my opinion, she's more or less a 9-10/10. I would consider her to be more attractive than her Caucasian counterparts.
I don't really know why, I suppose I like the way darker skin tones look. I also think that natural black women's hair (that curly, vaguely afro-shaped look in the above image) can look quite pretty if done well. As for racial categories I find generally less attractive, I have never thought Asian features to be particularly stunning.
Tblocks and I were interested as to the rest of Sep7agon's thoughts on the topic. Does race play a part in how attractive you find others? If so, how great of a factor is it? What races, and general racial features, do you find aesthetically appealing? Furthermore, aside from certain distinctive racial features what other physical characteristics do you find to be beautiful, such as eye color, hair color, length, style, etc?
B&N has their special edition available for preorder for $16 rather than the usual $30 for a limited time.
It features a special black cover and a double-sided poster
CGI Tarkin was very divisive, I think we can all agree. Personally, I believe we see such a stark divide in opinion because of a specific phenomenon relating to human perception in regards to faces; the Uncanny Valley effect, which I am sure most of you have heard of. I think that because of this phenomenon, a CGI Tarkin never could look perfect, it would always be slightly off. Thus, I wasn't bothered by CGI Tarkin; I could tell it was CGI, and it was "off", but I was nonetheless impressed with it.
I've seen some people say that they should have done what they did in RoTS, and had Wayne Pygram with prosthetics portray him.
Personally, I think that would have been terrible.
Honestly RoTS Tarkin creeps me out more than CGI Tarkin ever could. He looks like a bloated corpse.

Rian Johnson, the director, posted the photo comprising the right side of the image below on Instagram
Here is an image analyzing the changes
Personally, I like the changes they have made. I didn't mind the original First Order Stormtrooper design; but, I feel that these modifications to the design, however slight, are a real improvement. The helmet looks more menacing and less passive.
So there are these... let's say entrepreneurs in the good ol' People's Republic that are willing to provide copies of Forge World products at a substantial discount.
Thing is, they can be hard to contact. They discourage spreading their contact info around the web. I've been looking for some of their contact info for quite a while, to no avail.
... Until today.
Basically I got a roughly $100
Leviathan Siege Dreadnought
Just a few more details left.
Need to finish the shield, sword, and backpack icon.
For the sword, I need to paint the pommel and guard gold, and highlight the blade.
For the shield, I need to apply a black wash to make it worn, then paint the eagle gold and finish the scrollwork.
For the backpack icon, I need to clean up the area around the bones, then apply a brown wash to them. Then, I will go over the bones with an off-white (a color called Bone-white, actually) with the exception of the areas where the brown shade has settled most, and then highlight the sharpest corners, like the eye sockets, with a very light off-white.
