Arab culture and Islam are very closely related.
Can't really stress that enough.

it's not the video itself I can't manage but the sounds.
She's screaming I'm not guilty, I'm not guilty and then the sound of the blade as it hits her neck and she screams.
God dammit meta.
Why exactly is she screaming in English tho?
"I didn't kill, I didn't kill."

Saudi Woman Caught and Previously Convicted of Torturing and Murdering her Husbands 7 year old Daughter

I mean at least she's not an innocent person.
Why does everybody suddenly trust the fucking Saudi judicial system.

If what she was convicted of was true, then serves her right.
This is Saudi Arabia, she probably was innocent.

I'm sure Meta is going to bring out some autistic economic policy or historical fact that is somehow going to debunk what I said
Only where you blame the middle east's failings on imperialism.
I was more referring to Africa.
Even then.

Some parts of Africa didn't even have the wheel until the 1800s.

This has to be against the rules.
Also stop pretending that you care
I don't.

I just want to see the mods do something to you.

Anybody who flings shit after this post is just going to get reported. This is a de facto warning, I guess.

I think we're looking at this from a moral perspective, as opposed to the legal one you're championing.

Yeah, I would probably punch somebody if they called my girlfriend ugly. However, that is qualitatively different (morally) from harming somebody based on religious propositions. Should either be legal? Of course not.

There's no such thing as a good conservative.

No doubt he did conservative things, like ban partial birth abortion and retard stem-cell research, but even to Main Street Republicans fiscal conservatism is a vital part of the mix. Estimates of Bush fiscal policy range from a 49pc-62pc increase in discretionary domestic spending, along with a total rise in federal spending of 53pc-65pc. What is clear, however, is that he was the president who had increased government expenditure the most since LBJ.

Part of the problem was the Bush administration's vehement attachment to its campaign promises, which led them to pursue tax cuts as spending rose. Bush was also loath to use his veto, which--with the expiration of the 1990 Budget Enforcement Act--encouraged pork barreling. Glenn Hubbard, chair of the CEA, also said that concern about deficits was "Rubinomics" and false.

Yeah, Bush was a fucking awful president, not to mention profligate. But I don't think he can seriously be called a good conservative.

Serious / Re: Should we stop Iran from getting the bomb?
« on: January 16, 2015, 02:22:25 PM »
Why should we have them but they can't?
Because we aren't a fundamentalist Islamic regime funding Hamas or Hezbollah and encouraging suicide bombings. . .

8516
Serious / Re: Should we stop Iran from getting the bomb?
« on: January 16, 2015, 02:17:15 PM »
Should they not be able to have similar weapons as their enemies?
No. Since when did we have an obligation to care about the moral position of Iran regarding warfare or subversion. I'm not going to let a regime like that of Iran's get nukes on the basis of 'fairness'.

8517
Serious / Re: Should we stop Iran from getting the bomb?
« on: January 16, 2015, 02:09:50 PM »
Why shouldn't they have it? Should they not be on an equal playing field as many other countries?
Considering it's a fundamentalist Islamic regime, despises Israel, has supported attacks against America and could spark an arms race in the region. . .

No. . .

No it fucking shouldn't.

8518
It has absolutely nothing to do with immunity from the consequences of other peoples' offense.
On the contrary, it has everything to do with not getting fucking murdered for anything you say.
