Long live our noble memes
God save the memes
Send them dankly forward
Overused and tortured
God save the memes

O Lord our Pepe arise
Scatter the normies
And make $hillary fall
Counfound their waifus
Smite all the weeaboos
We give our memes to you
Pepe save us all

Thy choicest gifs in store
The dankest memes of all
Long may Pepe reign
May you defend our boards
From newfag cringe galore
We sing with Pepe's voice
God save the memes

Not in this forum alone
But be Pepe's dankness known
From board to board
Pepe make the internets see
That dank should memes be
And make fun of the normie
Under Trump's gaze

From every normie fag
From $hillary's Saudi swag
God save the memes
O'er memes Pepe's arm extends
For dankness sake he defends
Our jpegs, gifs and macros
God save the memes

Pepe grant that Marshal Meme
May by thy politically incorrect theme
Our dankness he repays
May he $hillary hush
And with high energy rush
Normie faggots to crush
God save our Pepes

Gaming / Re: 4K gaming. Does anyone care?

People should literally just stop buying consoles and buy desktops they can upgrade as the years go by.

It would probably save them money, given how they're throwing £300-400 every couple of years at a platform which won't have the potential of a PC. And, I mean, what the fuck? It's not even a new console. It's just a fucking hardware upgrade which isn't going to be supported by many console games at all.

The Chicago School is a broad term encompassing various economists and 'camps' of thought, with the most prominent probably being Milton Friedman and orthodox monetarism which arose in challenge to Keynesianism during the 1970s. It was also home to people like Bob Lucas, considered the father of New Classical Macroeconomics, and Edward C. Prescott of Real Business Cycle fame. In reality, the distinctions between the schools have largely gone away since the 1990s, and the profession is for the most part no longer split up into opposing schools.

- Monetarism
- New Classical I; New Classical II
- Real Business Cycle

Woodford has a nice history of thought paper.

Is it spider season in bongland or something? I've had to kill at least one monstrosity every night for the past two weeks.
I had one fucker crawl across my laptop so I promptly noped the fuck out of my room and decided to sleep on the sofa.

Of course, after being on the sofa for like ten minutes another one ran right fucking by me.

You sound extremely salty over one little thing.

He failed to consider potential consequences, which resulted in catastrophic loss of life, but he's morally in the clear?
OP is pretty clear that he couldn't have possibly foreseen the consequences.

855
I didn't say it was on here.

So your original point is even less relevant? Great.

Of course it's been discussed elsewhere; I'm fucking linking an article discussing it. The point of posting it here is to have a discussion about it here.

Y'know, that's what a forum is for.

856
Morally, the man is pretty much in the clear.

Whether he should be legally is another question, and the answer is he should probably face some consequences.

857
This was talked about a month ago.
"Why you see, snail boy, I have such an uninteresting life that I have nothing better to do than memorise the threads of the Gaming board and then, if that weren't enough, point out to people that they don't spend as much time here as I do. Aren't I great? i have no life fucking kill me"

Microsoft recently posted a brand-new blog post regarding the upcoming Windows 10 update which will launch this Aug. 2. Among the updates, it has been stated that every game Microsoft published from that point on will use the Xbox Play Anywhere platform, guaranteeing upcoming games like "Halo 6" will be on both the PC and the Xbox One.

"Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store," reads the official statement from Microsoft. Given that "Halo 6" comes out much later than the Windows 10 update it is likely that it will also be affected by this, ensuring it will play on both platforms.

PC Gamer confirms that "Halo 6" is indeed in development right now and 343 Industries does have plans to keep the franchise going for another decade or two. The game is also rumored to start yet another trilogy in the series, meaning "Halo 7" to "Halo 9" will see the main hero, the Master Chief, dealing with a new set of enemies than before.

#StillTimeforJillStein

i came up with that myself
She's just as retarded on foreign policy. The US helped local forces liberate a city in Syria from ISIS and she apologised to the civilian population of that city for "US aggression".
At least she knows what this arcane "Aleppo" thing is.
Unfortunately she would do exactly the same with Aleppo as Johnson were she president; watch it burn.

Serious / Re: This is what Communism looks like.
« on: September 11, 2016, 11:54:33 AM »
people like me have this crazy belief that we can transcend our innately selfish nature, though
Provided we survive as a species long enough, communism will eventually occur when technology abolishes the great barrier of scarcity. But that's about the only situation in which it will occur; telling people "just stop being selfish" in a world with inherent scarcity won't work.

The interviewer calls it a landmark building and asks Trump to comment about it. Comparing its most relevant feature -- height -- to the WTC towers is reasonable, and he goes on in the interview to talk at length about the design of the towers, specifically their height vs support columns. I'm sure at the time building owners were extremely concerned about which buildings were next potential targets; it hardly felt like a brag at all, and he doesn't say anything like that for the rest of the interview.
I get where you're coming from, man, I do; and maybe I'm just reading too much into his comment, but even listening to the audio it just seems crass and insensitive to me. I'm not saying the article is 100% correct, and I tend to the think the media does a pretty good job of misrepresenting what Trump actually says to try and make him look more deplorable, but from here his response seemed inappropriate. When asked about it he says "It's an amazing thing" and "It was an amazing phone call" when talking about how it's the tallest; I can see how it now being the tallest would be a relevant concern immediately following the attacks, but I find the way he spoke about the issue rather odious.

But that's obviously entirely subjective. If you disagree with me, I respect that, but at best I feel like he was being negligent of the way he spoke.

Do you ever get tired of being an insufferable faggot?

They literally asked him about that specific building and whether there was any damage. It was a fine response.
"Was there any damage to your building?"

"It's now the tallest in Manhatten."

Only parenthetically in the middle of the 10-minute conversation did Trump turn to a favorite topic—size. “40 Wall Street,” he said, referring to his 71-story building blocks away from the now-collapsed twin towers, “actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest—and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it’s the tallest.”

Marcus chalked up the remark to “Donald being Donald. … He is the brand manager of Trump, and he is going to tout that brand, and he does it reflexively,” he said. “Even on that day.”

Assassination when?
