I'm sure the US economy would be recovering a lot faster too if the Republicunts weren't cockblocking the Democrats at every turn.
Eh, that's questionable. Obama did manage to pass a stimulus which basically did buggerfuck all. The supply-side of the American economy was also quite weak during the Recession, for mysterious reasons.

Nonetheless, all countries are quite sluggish at the moment. Give credit to the Fed, their use of quantitative easing is what's made the difference between your sluggish growth and the Eurozone's depression.

You guys could certainly do with some welfare reform, however.

The Office for National Statistics has released a rather rare revision of real and nominal GDP growth from 1997 to 2012.

The Recession of 2008 has been made shallower, marked down from 5.2pc to 4.3pc, and removes a lot of concerns regarding weak productivity in the following years. The new information comes as the ONS tears up its previous methods of measuring the economy and instills a new system in line with international standards, and it is now considering the economic contributions of charity, the sex industry and illegal drugs.

Between 2010 and 2012, real GDP growth has been revised up by 1pc. Since 2008, the level of output has been raised by 2.6pc. While the revisions venerate Osborne's economic policies as good for economic growth, there is still the cost of living crisis. How much the government can do to counteract that, however, is shrouded in ambivalence.

And I'm saying it shouldn't be surprising considering he's being featured on Russia Today.
It's not surprising.

I've just seen otherwise respectable people here praise him.

It's still Russia Today, what the fuck did you expect was going to happen? It's a propaganda tool for the Russian government, you really think they're going to bring someone on there who isn't supporting a Russian takeover of Ukraine?
That's entirely beside the point.

The point is that George Galloway is a cunt.

I never said that though. Nobody in this thread mentioned Sentra. You guys just downvote everybody for no reason, which is why the trust system is kinda useless on this site. Trolls form a little butthurt gang and abuse it.
Lol, I don't. I only downvote people if they're legitimately being horrible. Like, intentionally fucking offensive.

But he is correct.
He isn't.

If you think us saying that Sentra isn't negative to everything and everyone, and telling you lot to take responsibility for how you can escalate the problem is trolling then I really don't know what to tell you.

It's a FORUM smart one. A place of discussion.
So I can discuss whatever I want.
Then that means he's allowed to discuss how much he doesn't like what you post, surely?

The Flood / Re: Please join me in congratulating Sentra and Verbatim
« on: September 03, 2014, 01:57:16 PM »
Yes you did, unless it was a typo on your part.

Yeah, that's what I said. That doesn't mean he's never negative unless you completely ignore the rest of the sentence. He is not absolutely, always, irrevocably, inexorably, undyingly, timelessly, wholly negative.

I'm not making the claim that he is 100% neutral/positive.

Are you kidding me?

So entering my thread and saying nothing more than "no one cares" when there are 2 pages of responses ISN'T negativity?

Well I'd hate to see your definition of it then.
I didn't say he was never negative, did I?

Holy shit, just lock this thread. The "swage" trolls are just going to argue with everyone.
This is EXACTLY the shit I'm talking about.

We aren't trolls arguing with you for fuck's sake. We're telling you to own up to your part in this bullshit.

If somebody is being a negative asshole, I am going to let them know. I can be a very blunt person, but I am not an asshole about it. You are not blunt, you are just negative towards everyone and everything.
No. He isn't.

He factually, objectively and absolutely is not negative towards everything and everyone.

The Flood / Re: Please join me in congratulating Sentra and Verbatim
« on: September 03, 2014, 01:43:31 PM »
That's exactly what your last post was.
What? I'm not giving Sentra sympathy. I even said sometimes the criticism is justified. I'm saying neither side will take proper responsibility for escalating a situation.

Quote
As do you.
No shit, that's what I said.

Quote
You really think your unbiased enough to call out both sides?
I don't believe that.
It's not a case of bias at all. I used to fucking hate Sentra. I don't know why you're questioning my credentials to judge people, when your entire argument is that you're not going to give him the time of day because you don't like the way he communicates.

I'm not taking sides. I'm telling everybody to take responsibility or shut the fuck up with this shit.

Whilst I'm not generally of the capitalist mindset for things, I am inclined that way over education.

Some people are born bright and should be allowed to burn at their full potential, some people are born blunt and should still be given the opportunity to flourish but not at the cost of the most able. So something along the lines of a meritocracy >.>
I completely agree.

I think too much emphasis is placed on higher education, too. It's being turned into an extension of college, pretty much. To much credentialism and too high prices are going to force universities to start offering services commensurate with the price. People of lower intelligence aren't, as many of us assume, placed in a position of a net negative outcome.

People like that are the apprentices and the labourers of our society. The plumbers and the electricians - people who find their calling in more vocational work.

For every quality thread he has made,
he has responded 10 times in other threads acting like a tool.

So he gets no sympathy from me, and he shouldn't from you either.
Nobody gets any fucking sympathy from me.

That's how I'm able to call out both sides.

You all act like cunts at some point.

The Flood / Re: Please join me in congratulating Sentra and Verbatim
« on: September 03, 2014, 01:31:11 PM »
Why does he have to be such a negative person all the time?
He isn't, he's just blunt. I don't think you guys actually pay attention to the stuff he says when he isn't being negatives. He's made threads before looking for genuine discussion, and he's absolutely fine with Challenger, Comms and I. Oftentimes, in those threads, he faces criticism without making a comment which would usually draw it. You don't have to like the way he communicates, you just have to accept responsibility for the way you react to him.

We've all rubbed somebody up the wrong way at some point or another. I used to hate Sentra, you used to be bitter, Dustin can be arrogant, I can be narcissistic, Class can get on your nerves et cetera.

Everybody just needs to fucking calm down. It's all a good laugh with threads like these, and I'm not condemning them per se, it just always leads to a situation where both sides are criticising each other and none will claim responsibility.

I have to ask, even if there is a correlation with wealth - who cares?

I agree with Commissar that poorer kids can grow up in an environment not conducive to learning, but the solution is never to punish the children doing well, even if the majority of them come from affluent background.
