I underestimated the amount of work necessary for college. As well as the education system having external problems, I got complacent. I barely scraped an A in politics and was five marks off an A in history. Worst part is I was five marks of a C in philosophy.
Luckily, politics is easier this year and the tendency for history students is to double their marks with leeway about 12 marks either way. With a paper re-mark and subsequent retake, I should be able to end up with AAB, which will get me into a Russell Group university.
My vent? I don't think I have the motivation to actually do the work necessary, although I'm off to a good start.

So I was having my driving lesson earlier today, I was going down a moderately busy road and we came across a girl on a horse who was being spooked by the passing cars. My driving instructor was of the opinion that its time has passed, and we should no longer allow horses on public roads. Spoiler It wasn't as bad, however, as two parents walking along the side of a main road without a sidewalk with their baby in a pram and their dog.
