And I'm more Libertarian than Meta ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm not surprised. Classical liberalism in the United Kingdom is marked by a certain respect for tradition that you wouldn't find in France or the U.S.

Publicly outing someone without their permission is the worst thing you can do to someone, and it makes you a pretty big jackass for it. If you really do like this person this is definitely not the way to do things. All you're looking for is ways to inspire hatred here.
"Publicly outing" isn't possible when the information is public and is potentially available to anybody who is browsing the Internet.

Peter Joseph evidently doesn't know what a constitutional monarchy is, then.

>implying that the queen would actually have to own the lands to generate revenue >implying that it couldn't generate just as much tourism, if not more as a historical site with no monarchy[/color]
Well, yes. Both of those implications are true.

I prefer this quiz, which I find more comprehensive. Politics: Foreign policy: Culture:

I don't like that second picture.
You can't call anything anarchist unless it lies literally along the very bottom of the chart.
Anyway, I'll do the test now.
You should add users' results to the OP, too.

The title of this thread is incredibly irritating.

What's your stance on western society in general?
The WEIRD (Western, Educated, Industrialised, Rich and Democratic) societies are generally preferable to any other. They tend to have a narrow moral range in comparison to Eastern countries like, say, India or Latin countries like Argentina, but on the whole it works best. I don't care much for the rampant materialism, but if people want it then they can have it for all I care.

Would you go on a mass-killing frenzy, like Olso, if you had the chance?
No. If I could get away with it, literally scot-free, then potentially.

Is there a day, somewhere, that you will always remember because of how good things felt?
Probably not. I'm really not the sentimental sort.

yeah they're fucking expensive
What? The revenue from their lands is greater than their salary. Not counting tourism benefits.

I only agreed with the second one.

So, basically, who are some of your favourite thinkers, philosophers, politicians, economists et cetera, and then what are some views of theirs with which you disagree.
I disagree with David Hume's compatibilist account of free will, I'm a determinist.
I disagree with Milton Friedman on the idea of increasing the money supply constantly by 3-5pc.
I disagree with Richard Dawkins on a gene-centred view of evolution.
I disagree with Christopher Hitchens on materialism.
I disagree with George Osborne on the Help to Buy scheme.
Those are the ones which immediately come to mind.

Completely agree with Putin.
Social conventions and the like are absolutely fine, and you can have all the communal and sacred ethics you want.
The State, however, needs to be based on the ethic of individualism and autonomy, and the Judicial System needs to operate on those principles to ensure the liberty and property of the entire citizenry, such is the foundation of any decent society.

English Civil War: Round 2 if they try.

So? <.<
I don't have to agree with 100% of someone's views to like them.

*Ms. Math
Why do you automatically assume that they would be male to female? What if they were female to male, and you met them after they had gone through their transition?
I do not know which is the case, but I do not make assumptions. It does not matter either way. They were a really great user on b.net, I miss seeing Mister Math.
He isn't assuming. She changed her name to either Miss Math or Ms Math when I last saw. One or the other.

Well, this thread does not really seem like you are trying to defend him to be honest. I do not see the reasoning for randomly pointing out that someone is transgender, because it does not matter, they are just themselves. Sorry if I took it the wrong way. It really just does not matter though, and how would him being trans* affect him being a nice and intelligent guy? It is still the same person.
I know, but that's exactly my point really. I want to see how many people will judge him differently based on how he is as a person, unalterably, and how much bearing that has on people's opinions in comparison to his intelligence and niceness.

That is a terrible show.
>implying I even watch the show
I've been reading the books.
It's a bit like LoTR.
It gets really boring after a while.
Didn't happen for me. I found the books keeping me on edge the whole time, even A Feast for Crows.
They're good, don't get me wrong. It can just be a bit of a slog, to be honest. I really don't give a fuck about Catelyn or Arya.

Who the fuck cares?
I do. Mister Math was genuinely a very nice, very intelligent guy. This forum, on the whole, can be quite transphobic at times. And I mean genuine dislike or sheer ignorance. It's not every day I break out the social justice, but it just felt worth mentioning to be honest. Spoiler Plus, I want to see how many replies this'll get.
