Yeah I don't get it. Unless it's some sort of mental disease and changes the balance of chemicals and doesn't allow you to feel certain feelings or any at all, seems like a bunch of babies.
Because I've lived through a lot of shit, and I've never felt like that. I just don't understand it.
Depression affects some people more than others and in different ways. It's incredibly surprising I got depression, and yet it was different to the way most people seem to experience it. Basically, I think there is some sort of neurochemical imbalance which can make people more or less prone to it.

Yes.
Despite being something of a conservative, I still have quite radical views on a lot of things (such as the abolition of prisons). I try to channel these into practical and gradual considerations (such as a the decriminalisation of victimless offences).
Although, some radical principles which have stuck with me (socialism, to a degree,) I keep more separate.

I'm fairly neutral when it comes to a lot of social issues, which is exactly how the government should be.
Although, that's not to say neutrality doesn't come with its principles. I think a strong judicial system from the government, along with healthy respect for the government from the citizenry, are the two most important points of relation between the public and the State.
While I've noticed myself becoming somewhat more conservative socially, it's actually led me down some rather radical paths. I'm disgusted by the conservatives who advocate for a tougher war on drugs (or a tougher anything really), since it seems altogether hypocritical to be sceptical of government and yet eager to use it.
I suppose I follow the "British tradition" of classical liberals, who emphasise respect for tradition and empiricism. Essentially, the two main points of my social views come down to gradualism, and whether or not it works.
Probably a bit of a ramble, but oh well.

I don't want this to be a thread which turns into a shitstorm, and if a mod wants to lock it then fine, but Deci has blocked my PMs.
Basically, in a Srs thread, Deci was calling for the collective action of males against violence towards women. Far enough, I challenged him and then for some reason he brought up an instance a year ago where I called him a horrible person for saying a mentally ill woman should be executed for killing a kitten.
The thread got derailed and locked. Now, Deci is just posting in response to me this video essentially expressing the fact that he isn't sorry and doesn't give a fuck, even going insofar as to PM me and then block my PMs afterwards.
I'm here to ask him to take a step back, look at what he's wasting his time doing and respectfully asking him to stop.

She was a person unfortunately afflicted with a very serious mental illness, who could not, in any way, have been responsible for her actions at the time. It's a tragedy that the kitten died, it really is, but it's an even greater tragedy that this woman wasn't properly serviced in the way she could've been.
