Destiny is a great game. The only two issues with it are a lack of a story (but if you are expecting a good story from Bungie these days you're doing it wrong) and a lack of content at launch. It's fun as hell, especially with friends.

I can only really think of black team and Cortana. They've brought back characters like guilty spark and they're introducing far more characters than what they're killing off.
Weren't there some Spartan-III's killed off in a forum post?
That was Saber team, but their deaths were never confirmed, just listed as KIA.

There's not a whole lot of weapons in this game, but I still found myself picking favorites: The plasma pistol and the shotgun.
Be warned, Halo: CE is the last time the plasma pistol is ever useful as a primary weapon.

Brothers in Arms is my favourite song from CE too. Favourite song in the series would probably be Unforgotten from Halo 2 or 117 from Halo 4. Of course, the entirety of Halo 3: ODST's soundtrack is up there too.
