In all honesty, I think they fucked up when they tried to make it different from the comics. Should have filmed fewer episodes per season and not added extra story arcs tbh. It just seems to drag on forever before something interesting actually happens.
Scott Gimple's been trying to bring it closer to the source material. Of course he can't make it exactly like that due to certain chars being dead/alive etc but he's been treating it a lot better than Darabont and Mazzara planned to.

I honestly lost interest at season 3 because of how they handled the pacing. It felt like after season 1, any sense of wonder was gone.
Season 3 was pretty hit-and-miss, I thought.
I might get back into it via pirating, but for now Game of Thrones has been the more consistent of the bunch for me.
I got into GoT back in August. Pretty consistent for like the first three seasons but I felt like it took a dip in the last two. Hopefully Season 6 is better, but it probably will be because of CLEGANEBOWL 2016.

I really wanted the series to end in Alexandria, but the producers are already planning the next 5 years. I'm really over the two-season cycle of finding a home, fucking it up, and wandering around picking off supporting characters.
The series is going to stay in Alexandria for more than a few Seasons. The series is done with the finding-a-new-home stuff at this point, if the comics are anything to go by.

Any word on last episode of GoT?
Probably coming on the 27th. Rumours are that Telltale are releasing all their current episodes this month. Not sure how to feel about GoT, though. It's been a mixed bag overall.
