Well good luck with that, the game took me something like 80 hours to complete (the same as my dark souls 2 playthrough). Though granted I did get stuck on one particular planet for a very long time..
Holy fuck, which planet? A completionist playthrough only took me 30 hours...
Nar Shaddaa. Nearly ruined the game for me. Apart from just being generally confused about what I was supposed to do, there was some kind of fast transport vehicle which I spent ages rebuilding only to find out that it was still unsafe to use or something.
Now that I think about it, I may have left the game running paused on my laptop a few times so 80 hours might be a tad inflated, but I'm nearly certain that was the number displayed on my save game at the end.
Spoiler Which is strange because I literally didn't have any trouble with Nihilus Kreia or Sion, beating them all first time
Damn, Nar Shaddaa is probably my favourite of the four planets.

I only saw about 3 episodes of the first season and never got round to finishing it for some reason
It's really good. As good as, if not better than, Breaking Bad I'd say. It has a bit of a slow start but overall it's fucking excellent. I've never seen a show be so consistently good.

 Hopefully this means there's a trailer soon. Pretty excited for this. The first season was near-perfect so hopefully the second is just as good. The new season starts 15th February, same day as The Walking Dead.

If you do get it at any point make sure you get the Restored Content Mod. Earlier this year Obsidian/Disney/Valve/Whoever added Workshop support specifically for that mod. The developer themselves agree that it's essential to get the full experience. LucasArts forced Obsidian to rush the game out in time for Christmas so a significant chunk of the game is missing without the mod, including some important scenes.

Nice review, agreed with pretty much all of it. KOTOR 2 (with TSLRCM) fixes most of KOTOR 1's issues (choices have much more impact and are less Bioware-ish, every companion is useful, the villains are easily the best in star wars) and vastly improves on the combat, which is why it's my favourite game of all-time. The quests are still somewhat overwhelming but less-so than in KOTOR 1.
Spoiler While I agree that Malak was generic, I think that may have been intentional. You had his impulsiveness and cliche-ness contrasting with Revan's more logical, restrained approach to things, which is what ultimately leads to Malak's downfall. But yeah, he is kind of generic.
I think that while this game does suffer from some of the common Bioware symptoms, they're not as major as in their later games.
But yeah, KOTOR is easily my favourite Bioware game and one of my favourite overall games.
I'm out of money now...can't get KOTOR 2.

I still need to play Fallout 2. Bought 1 and 2 ages ago and still haven't finished 1. This reminds me I just completed an extensive playthrough of KOTOR 1 (20 hours) and 2 (29 hours) so I might write up my thoughts while they're fresh.

I arrived at the hotel and was taken to my room by Frank. Got bored of the hotel and went to the airport, but service was worse than Ryanair. Decided to go to the adoption centre to find a new son. Didn't feel great, so went to the hospital. Ran some tests and was given the all-clear... It was all looking good, but it turned out she made an error in the diagnosis...the real result... Things got worse... Despite their efforts, they could not save me... I hope you enjoyed my story please remember to like comment subscribe.
