So after a year of being adamantly against Halo 5, I got the LE for free and will be coming in the mail next week.
I already refuse to play the campaign, how disappointed will I be in the multiplayer? Is it really worth 343 abandoning the MCC over?
You won't be missing much with the campaign given the story is complete shit and the gameplay is incredibly lackluster, just your standard FPS campaign with nothing memorable. Multiplayer is dependent on if you like Spartan Abilities. I personally hate them so the multiplayer is pretty meh for me. Fun for about 2 games and then I don't play it again for a few months. It's a step up from 4 and Reach but still pretty meh. H2A is what Halo 5 should have been.

I also love how the devs are so candid about what they didn't get right on the first run-through. Paradox is a great studio.
It adds a shitload of new government types and splits up some of the ethics scales. It also adds in a traditions system to determine what your empire excels in specifically.

Well I killed all the raiders with my gatling laser, I actually had to turn off the auto saves because I was triggering so many cap-splosions and bloody messes that my game was chugging and crashed at one point.
I'm thinking of keeping the Pack and Operators alive and slaughtering the Disciples. I didn't like them the second I saw them and the shithole they live in, plus their leader is a cunt that I plan on crushing with my power armor and Sentry Bot companion.
