I haven't bought many games in recent memory that I'd consider bad or have strong enough feelings about to consider my least favourite. Normally they tend to be mediocre and forgettable at worst. I was inclined to put Destiny down but I had such a love-hate relationship with that game depending on which DLC had just released.

It had a huge surge in popularity. ARMA 3 Battle Royale and H1Z1 were big, but nowhere near as successful as PUBG. This brings me back to my earlier point about Twitch streamers. Prior to actually being released for early access, Bluehole got a bunch of popular streamers to test the game in beta. The game was good, naturally the streamers enjoyed it, so Bluehole had a bunch of free advertising before the game was even available to the masses, in addition to people who already liked the mod. Not denying PUBG's successful or anything, just saying that the increase in popularity wasn't entirely out of the blue. Such as?

Even then, other games offer that shit too. Sorry, but you do. You need to win several times and put in at least a few hundred hours before you fully learn the game, the map, and actually get comfortable with it. You've played like 50 hours tops, you haven't delved into the game all that much.
It's not a dick waving contest, but I'm not gonna let you call the game shallow when you've barely played it or tried to play in a competitive way. You don't need to play 50 hours of a game like PUBG to understand its mechanics. I'm not claiming it's shallow, I'm just saying it's not as deep as you're saying. What does that have to do with content? You don't need new shit every week to enjoy a solid game. It's just good on its own. I'm not expecting 10+ maps for PUBG. I think both current ones are pretty good as they stand. My point was that populations stick to games for different reasons these days, hence why PUBG is going to need to keep up with that demand if it wants to retain its success compared to how Halo 3 kept its population, especially given that it's a game centered around a single gamemode. I was also talking about games that were out at the time. huh? If it was broken I wouldn't be able to play it everyday with little to no issues. With other people. I could play Fallout 4 every day with little to no issues just after it launched, but it wasn't the same for everyone. Game was still broken. Actually lag got worse after launch, just recently it improved. You'd know that if you played it. I actually played it quite a bit over Christmas and had some fairly decent games. Just not with you.
