Update 16 - The Free City I finally arrived in Novigrad, a city full of whores, beggars, and men in hoods. Triss wasn’t at her house; the Temple Guard were cracking down on “freaks”, burning them alive in the middle of town. I found her in a place called the Putrid Grove, with the “King of Beggars”. She offered to help find Ciri, but needed me to run some errands for her which involved finding a lost package and exterminating some rats. Once we were finished, and after being ambushed by some witch hunters, Triss directed me to an oneiromancer, Corinne Tilly, who may be able to help.  Tilly was in a haunted house, trying to figure out its problem for a banker who'd just bought it. Turned out it was just a mischievous godling causing problems, who agreed to stop as long as I told the banker to go away. I then met with Tilly at a nearby inn, where with her help it was revealed that Geralt’s friend Dandelion was in the city, and had been contacted by Ciri.  I was to find Dandelion at a tavern he now owned, however he was not there. Instead, there was a dwarf, Zoltan, who I guess is an old friend of Geralt’s. We found a list of women in Dandelion’s planner, and so my task was to go to each of them to get some information as to the bard’s whereabouts. This led to some interesting things, like a cross-dressing elf, a horse race with the Imperial General Voorhis, and Geralt becoming a fencing instructor, but eventually we were lead to a singer named Priscilla, who told us that Dandelion had landed himself in trouble with Whoreson Junior, one of the four crime lords of Novigrad.

First Halo I played was 2, in 2007. My parents were in no financial position to buy me a 360 with Halo 3 so they got 2 for me that Christmas instead and I loved it.
Didn't play Halo: CE for the first time until 2008, when they bought it for my birthday. It was alright.

Because it's not fun for those on the receiving end.
Destiny's Crucible is pretty terrible for this. Everyone likes to use supers because they're powerful and satisfying to use. But it's extremely annoying to have them used on you, what is basically an insta-kill power with no real way of avoiding it unless the player using it sucks at the game. It's bullshit and frustrating to be killed by them, but you can't really nerf them because they're designed to be insta-kill powers.
That said, Destiny may be a weird example seeing as the idea of Crucible completely goes against everything Destiny wants to be.

I agree, I think the first couple of iterations were great because of their simplicity. In later games I simply didn't care. That said, Infinite Warfare's Zombies mode was alright.

I don't think this community is very anti-modding. The only person who really is that way is Verb and that's because he has a very narrow view of playing a game and enjoying an artistic medium only as it was intended by the creator. Other than that I can't really think of anyone else who is opposed to it.
Oh and there actually are legal limits to some kind mods aside from those that damage services.
Then Verbatim should frown upon 343 Industries for making the anniversary maps for Halo Reach, while 343 was legally in contract for that task, it still doesn't mean its the creator of Reach.
So if its only Verbatim, why don't others partake in discussions of mods or have threads of there own? Do they not care?

I don't think Verb really gives a shit about DLC for an 8 year old game.
Yet he gives a shit about modding a 15 year old console, a 10 year old game and whatever else he would like to take a dump on with glee.
Anyway, this thread isn't about Verbatim.
So, what's the reason you don't talk about any modding?
Well I don't really mod games, for similar reasons to Verb, with the occasional exception of games like EU4 or Stellaris for themed mods like Fallout or Star Wars, and even then I don't go particularly far with it. The only mod that I really actively use whenever I play is the Restored Content Mod for KOTOR 2, and that's been officially endorsed by the developers who added support to the game for it relatively recently.
