Still naked. I'm about to put on some shorts though. They're a really faded ambush pattern. The pants kind of shorts, not the underwear kind. Fuck those.

Can you stop being fucking retards and generalizing people because there are two idiots that run their mouth on Twitter? You're definitely better than this Mr P. Honestly, do you even know what social justice is? Because it doesn't mean 'random bitch on the internet who hates men.' Just because you're on a forum with a sour culture when it comes to issues like these doesn't mean you have to stoop to a low to get on their good side. Fact of the matter is that the majority of feminists and SJWs are glad that this happening so it's truly just not necessary to warp those people into radical idiots just because of a small few who are probably trolls anyway.
But Le Dusty, SJW is the term FOR that minority of idiots.

I guess that would make sense, after all thrusting would be easier to do in tight formations and a wide blade would give a bigger stab wound, but what I'm saying is that the design seems to also have cutting in mind, specifically the fact that they widen towards the tip creating an excellent chopping point for when an opponent exposes an arm or leg in battle. So yes the gladius was mostly used to stab, but it would have also been a very effective cutting sword as well, which is a good thing because it makes for a very versatile weapon that can be used in whatever way the situation required.
True, it's got a decent shape to chop someone's shoulder or head with, but if you look at something like a Kopis or Falcata, you can tell with one look that those were designed to chop someone past their shield. Spoiler I'm not trying to argue, by the way, I just like discussions about this kind of stuff.

I would argue that the gladius would be very effective at both cutting and thrusting, the very acute point would be excellent for thrusting, but the broad blade and slightly curved edges would make it very effective for chopping.
You could chop with it, yes, but I don't think that was an intended use until the hispaniesis with it's narrow body and wide head. I'd argue that the broad surface of the gladius was to maximize damage from a stab wound.
