You're certainly not wrong at a here though, considering the absolute bullshit that gets popular. Even within series I think are genuine good this applies. Fate Grand Order Babylonia's anome is probably the most aggressively mediocre adaptation of anything in human history with flat art, Dreamcast quality CGi and story beats that somehow don't land early as well as they did in the literal mobile game where everything is portrayed in fucking .png images. But because the game version had been written well and had 10 billion ass-shots of the girls per episode the fanbase treats it like the second comming of Christ.

I think a major thing for a lot of people as a starting point to liking is that it's just precived as different that what's normally broadcast. Especially in the past like the early 2000s
Back when they broadcast there was a notaby difference between something like Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing and even other action cartoons of the time both stylistically and tonnaly which intreuged people. Sooner or later they would discover the larger context of anime and find something they liked about it which carries from person to person.

I'm really trying to like the district system, I really am. I get and like what they're going for to add more depth but honestly I play Civ mainly to relax and these extra levels of planning and space Management I don't think are gonna let me do that.
It doesn't help that this """"island""""" has four other civs taking the space up and forward settling me super aggressively.

Not all of us feel obligated to write a sermon to validate our feelings on some cartoons. It's not that serious and we aren't running YouTube channels that get paid for it. Perhaps one of these days I'll do a write up on Universal Century Gundam or something, but I'm too lazy for that ATM and I've got better things to do like play Civ 6. No he wasnt. He WANTED to be Vader but never could be. He never even actually understood who Vader or even Anakin really was and was all the while struggling with his pull back to the light side of the force. TFA pretty strongly established that. I swear people litteraly can't see these movies for what they are beyond their own headcanon or what they remember from legends. The onlt bad parts of TLJ were Canto Blighttown and Rose in the last act.
