I think people underestimate Seath too much when they see that he's "easy". Then you get cursed and you're fucked. It's an interesting boss for sure.

TOOK OUT ANOTHER BOSShave fun guessing which onei bet it's obvious, but you'll find out in a couple days
This particular neck of the woods was divided by a wide crevice. The gap was bridged together with a small building, though, with a funny-looking cat sitting at the window. It started bitching at me for not wanting to turn back. After telling it to fuck off, I made my way to the other side of the forest--which was inhabited by a group of these timid little mushroom midgets that waddled away from me when I approached them.Next thing I know, I get bowled over by a giant rolling cat. Probably the biggest "oh shit" moment in the playthrough for me. It knocked at least 60% of my health down, so, as for what I did next, I have just two words: Homeward Bone.
Yo killed best doggo, RIPAlso, are you aware of how counter hits with the spear work? It could be useful to you.

OhIt's not that hard, you just block then poke...
Quote from: Big Boss on June 30, 2017, 05:42:45 PMOhIt's not that hard, you just block then poke...Oh, I didn't know that's what you meant. Of course I know about that.I thought you were talking about the Winged Spear's tendency to deal more damage when you hit your enemy at just the right moment.
Counter damage meaning hitting an enemy who's mid attack and interrupting them. Thrusting weapons are good at this, they tend to have more counter damage. Also hitting enemies with the sweet spot with long weapons deals more damage. You don't wanna be right up close and hitting them with the shaft, needs to be spaced properly so just the blade / spike hits. I can't remember if this in the first game, or if they added it in 2, but it's still worth spacing enemies properly anyway
Why aren't you two handing the Claymore? It's easily the best sword fully leveled up and using charcoal or gold pine resin. Shields are for babies. You're not a baby are you?
Also the Hornet ring boosting criticals is for backstabs, riposting after a parry, that sort of thing.
