If you want to abstain from drugs, great. But you shouldn't use it as a way to look down on others and feel morally superior to them. Especially considering smoking a joint is about as harmful as eating a Big Mac.

If you overhear that your cousin smoked a bowl last weekend, it shouldn't be some huge topic of gossip that possibly leads to an intervention; it should be like hearing your cousin went to McDonalds or had a beer last weekend. No big deal on it's own, possibly an issue if they're doing it every single day.

They both end up in death. If someone eats McDonald's it's a universal truth that you should look down on them.

Eating a Big Mac only affects themselves, thus it can't be morally good or bad.

Nor should I look down on people who eat their own shit for whatever stupid reason, and I definitely shouldn't look down on people who do selfharm in the name of their god.

Their body, their choice. You have no business to look down on them.
