If I swallowed my entire bottle of drugs from the doc I'd probably just die faster.

Drugs are helpful in little doses, because they have compounds that are harmful as well. Just like anti-venom and vaccines.

Yeah, but now I've gotta wait weeks for a higher dosage prescription since Adderall stopped working for me, and the Vyvanse I got doesn't do anything either yet.

Yes, when I was bad my mother used to give me alot of special medicine that gave me super powers, sometimes she would put the medicine in a needle and give it to herself to get the super powers too.

I don't really talk to her anymore though, I'm still waiting for her to come back from the farm.

The gauge of "effective" is very difficult to measure as we don't have a way of measuring feelings, to an exact. So the science behind this is difficult but the short answer is, no.
