We're alive during such a boring time period. By the time something like space travel or space colonies become a thing, we'll be old at best, dead at worst.
Since I won't exist as a consciousness once I die, I don't worry about it, because I won't even be capable of realizing I'm dead once I am.So, from my point of view, I'll always be alive. That's pretty much how I deal with it.

I don't know... from my point of view, non-existence is infinitely better than existence. There's no strife or struggle when you're dead... I'm interested to see how I go, though. I really want to fuck with people when I get close. Y'know, if I live to be 100 or something, I'll just make up some excuse why. Like, claim I ate a pine cone everyday, just to fuck with people.

Yes, I can make some people's lives better. But people are bastards to each other and that's never going to change.
That's part of my internal struggle in a sense. I've gotten used to thinking about death as beneficial release and it's making it difficult to do the things I want despite me having clues as how to progress.
I'd say I shoved the pinecone up my ass. That should result in some butthurt.

What do you gain by giving up or doing nothing? What do you have to lose by experiencing and making the most out of the life you've been given, and make sure that your children and grandchildren will be able to go where you've always wanted them to be?
