That rahkshi is before my time. My first actual set was the Glatorian Tarix, but then I eventually got a bunch of older used ones as well.

Lucky you. I did get the Lego magazine for a long time prior to that set though, so I started reading the comics at the beginning of 2006 (mahri)

I loved Bionicle!!!!

Had 2 games on the game boy advance,
had several figures, and watched the first movie.

My friend from 2nd grade got me into it.

I was a huge fan of BIONICLE from the beginning right up to it's end. I used to frequent the BZPower forums a lot back during that time as well since it was the largest BIONICLE community on the internet.

Also the story was very enjoyable and I always loved how expansive the world was.
My favourite character in the story was Vezon, I always found him to be a funny and interesting character due to his twisted mind and the way he interacted with the other characters.

EDIT: I should also note that I was actually planning on making a thread regarding BIONICLE earlier today after I was reminded of it from seeing Nul Arc's avatar, but clearly I was beaten to it.

I had a few when I was a kid. They came in those tubes. I don't remember the names of them or anything, but I had a white one and a grey one, I think.

I honestly liked the lighter brown from Onewa, but Hewkii had a nice color scheme, too. Same with the Vorox.

Brown and tan will always be the best, none of that sickly yellow that they started using after '06.

Nothing is wrong with the yellow color, it's just that it doesn't seem to work that well for that character. Personally, I still think Onewa looked the best out of all of them.

It's not that other colors don't work with Stone, it just needs more brown.

Okay, to be fair, the yellow wasn't that bad, but I just didn't like how inconsistent and indecisive they were.

Bionicle was my childhood. My favourite year was 2006, with the Inika and Piraka. Kardas was one beastly set, too.

I still have about 200+ Bionicles in a box in my garage, waiting to be rebuilt and sold.
