I've been in a pretty...heat intensive position for the past week or so, so I'm kind of just done with things. Some of these people have been trying to break me for a long time, while others are more recent or just...nonsensically mad for little to no reason over trivial things. So whatever. I'm done, I don't care. No more trying to hide this, since obviously my personal life isn't allowed to stay out of my online life.

If you guys saw the full on flame war that our good friend Camnator started about me that also spilled over onto Bungie, then I'm sure you know already. I'm trans. Obviously though, I'm not open or proud of it because my entire life was essentially ruined by coming out irl. I lost everything. I lost my family, I lost my home, my education, and most importantly, the love of my life and best friend because he was afraid of being seen as gay. I wasn't open about here because I sought escapism online, a place where how I exist physically doesn't matter.

I made a lot of friends, but in the process I guess you could say I made a lot of enemies. I don't consider them as such, but I'm sure they consider me an enemy. Problem is, I enjoy being a joker online. I enjoy poking fun at people, and I also don't take shit from people that give me shit. The internet is kind of the only place where I can really stand up for myself from people that are dicks. My family kicked out and disowned me and I was completely helpless to it. My other relatives emailed me messages about how I'm condemned to hell and how they'll "be praying for me". I've been in and out of government offices for all of 2014 fighting for my rights, fighting to survive in this cold and harsh world. So I'll say it again, being trans cost me everything I once had in my life. Everything I cared about, at least.

You think I'm happy being like this? That I'm asking for it? Body dysphoria alone is already a bitch. Never mind the social stigma I've been facing from people I once considered friends and family. If there's one thing I'll tell you, it's this- there's a reason why trans folk have the highest suicide rate of any other demographic in existence. It's not because we're mentally ill. It's because the rest of the world, all you dickbags out there, treat us like subhuman freaks who shouldn't be allowed in a way be a little more comfortable in their skin. Because a person's "beliefs" mean that I can be treated like a joke.

I'm not a freak, I'm not mentally deranged or diseased. I'm just me. All I want is the dignity and respect to be treated like everyone else. I don't care if you think I'm wrong. I don't care about your "beliefs" that you use as an excuse to disregard that I am clearly a regular guy, just like the rest of you.

You want to hate me? You want to make fun of me?

I gotta correct you there. Most people don't have a problem with it. It's the few that do that have kept me quiet about this. The fact that this ended up blowing up so big and ugly is a testament to that.

You can refer to me the same way as everyone did before. I'm a guy.
