The picture would be a laptop, and it would smell like coffee and cardboard.

Oh, that's shitty. Any ideas on what to do next?
I'm doing alright. Planning to move out of my trash apartment by the end of the year, and probably get a new job while I'm at it.

What is everyone busy with?
Work, and then going home to sleep in preparation for more work. Sometimes I binge shows I hear are good when I have a spare moment.

I knew traffic was slowing down but I didn't think it would get down to one or two posts a day. Feels like I came back to a graveyard.

Things are pretty good, had a bad reaction to the vaccine but I'm doing better now.

most of your posts are excuses for your actions or explanations for your condition or whining about how people react to you or whatever
i think at least some of your problems here will go away if you stop making everything about yourself

I haven't even played a single Yakuza game in the first place, so there'd be no sense in picking up the 8th installment.
If you ever feel like playing a Yakuza game then 0 is both a convenient starting place and generally considered the best in the series. I want to see your take on it.

Flat on my back with my head tilted right is my usual. On my side makes my shoulder sore, and front makes me feel like I'm suffocating no matter how I angle my head.

"Alright. You wanna go to war with me? Bring it on. Do your worst. Keep insulting me, because I honestly don't give a shit. I can argue like this all night if I have to.

The smith machine won't help with thatwhat are they for then
to make you feel good about lifting without actually doing anything
nah just kidding, from what i understand the movements you make on the smith machine aren't the same as when you're squatting without the smith machine, so it can actually hurt your form if you get too used to using it
« on: August 22, 2019, 02:54:42 PM »
unrelated, but you might get a kick out of this:
i'm not taking it super seriously, or anything, but i started lifting a couple months ago (hour a day, four days a week)
a friend of mine goaded me into it, but i only agreed to do it because i wanted to prove to him that i wouldn't get anything out of it (it also gives me an excuse to hang out with him more and get more water in my system, which is particularly important for me because i have kidney stones now), but for what it's worth, i haven't missed a day
it's been fun, even though i can't squat for shit (my form is fucking HORRENDOUS) and i haven't really made any serious gains yet (need more protein i guess)
aw sweet me too, how much can you lift now and what are you focusing on

If someone were to tell me that this show was their personal favorite, I wouldn't blame them. It's certainly one of mine. However, I still can't help but feel that the amount of praise this show has gotten is a little overblown. While it's an undeniably good show, I still think it takes way too long for it to become REALLY good for me to be able to understand why this is touted as the best show ever.
Breaking Bad only became significantly popular around the fourth season (which, as you said, is where it gets good) whereas relatively few watched the first three when they premiered, so lot of the praise comes from people who have only seen it after it really picked up steam.

But it's nice to see you again.
