Gaming / Re: HOLY FUCK, FUCK YOU (what is the hardest boss you've ever fought?)« on: March 03, 2015, 07:59:56 PM »
A lot of the bosses on Darkest Dungeon are super hard.
I remember the first time I saw one. Had a relatively strong party going in, well equipped, had lots of gold. Figured I'd check one last room out before bailing with my loot. Ran into the boss. Made everyone go insane on the first turn, then began to pick my party off every turn. Except this one sister of battle. She was on death's door and NEVER. FUCKING. DIED. Just took his hits like a champ! She was ace. Too bad she eventually succumbed to blight that she got from the boss' little helper. Not even the damn boss himself killed her. Had to friggin' disease her to finish the job. 14

For DkS2, probably Ruin Sentinal's theme. Fume Knight if we count the DLC. No particular reason, I just think they sound rad. 16

Well, this is good news. I'd like if western forces could assist in some real regard, but since Cameron's decided to cut our military and every other fucking service for some reason then there's probably gonna be no help from the UK unfortunately.

Serious / Re: 3, non-negotiable things you look for in a spouse« on: February 25, 2015, 12:56:50 PM »Just because something is natural or "programmed into our brains" doesn't make it okay. Killing others is natural, does that make it okay? No. Taking a life and creating a life are two completely different things. Besides, what you're saying is completely dependent on context. By your logic, it's not okay to kill someone who's doing their hardest to kill you. Should I just let them kill me because it's not right to end their life? No. And I'm not going to sit back and let them murder me. Children don't have the choice to be born, you're right, but just because they don't have a say doesn't mean they don't want to. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has at some point had the desire to live, even if they don't feel that way now. It's human nature. At the most basic level, we just want to survive and procreate. There's nothing morally wrong about that. You're saying that, because everyone inevitably has a moment when they feel down or are in pain, that means they shouldn't be have the chance to be born? Fuck that, that's pointless logic in my eyes. Arguing that point, you could easily counter with the fact that, by not giving that baby a chance to be born, you're an awful person robbing that kid of all his/her potential happiness, love and whatever else good feelings are out there. Life can be hard sometimes, yeah, but if I had the choice of being born or not, I'd never once consider the option of just ceasing to exist. 19
Serious / Re: 3, non-negotiable things you look for in a spouse« on: February 25, 2015, 11:36:03 AM »Marriage usually goes wrong because society promotes the idea of getting married rather than the actual marriage itself. That's why divorce rates over her in America are like 49%. Too many people stay with someone for like... two years, then decide it's time to propose. It's sad (as in the "Awh, I feel bad for them" way) since they're usually young, too. Like you say, mid twenties. You haven't even decided what you want career wise, and people your age are making huge commitments like this so early when they're probably in the same boat as you. It's just baffling why people go into it so early. You should plan beforehand and only really go through with it when both parties have a stable income, or just the one if it's a really well paid job. 20
Serious / Re: ISIS To Execute 150 Christians...« on: February 25, 2015, 11:32:07 AM »It's safe to assume ISIS are as bad as the Nazi's, right? Only less organized and with no goal in mind.ISIS are pretty much worse than the Nazis already. Obviously the Nazis did awful stuff, but at the very least they were actually a (somewhat) effective form of government, even if it was very oppressive. The quality of life for the average German citizen in the 30s was really pretty good, better than it had been in decades, maybe even the high point at that time. I mean, I don't hear any stories about ISIS controlled areas in Syria or Iraq being very nice places to live at all and I doubt they ever will be. Way too repressive, and they cherry pick the parts of the quran that best represent their psychopathic ideology. 21
Serious / Re: 3, non-negotiable things you look for in a spouse« on: February 25, 2015, 11:24:54 AM »Yeah but he said not want to have kids, so... why? That makes no sense. Unless the rumors I heard about Verb thinking humans having kids is... weird or something. Which is more or less daft, so I refuse to believe he actually thinks that without at least hearing his reason. Aren't women hotwired to want to kids, at least much more so than men? Well, goodluck finding a woman who'll marry you who also doesn't eventually want to have kids. Part of getting married is to settle down and make a family. Bit redundant if that family's going to die off after your generation, so you might as well not even bother with that. To be honest, I'm not too big on marriage anyway. It's nice, sure, but all the legal stuff involved with it just makes it a bit too undesirable to me, especially if you don't plan on having kids. It seems like it puts both parties under more pressure than they need to be, and for what? Just doesn't seem worth the hassle in my eyes. Not that I'm opposed to marriage, mind you. If I ever found someone that I got along with flawlessly, was with for at least five years or so, I'd probably do a huge 180 on my current mindset. Though knowing me, I'll wake up tomorrow and have changed my mind on it anyway. 22

Game looked kind of all right when it first got announced. Then the more we learned about it, the worse it got.
Then they started with all that "cinematic 30fps, u guiz" and oh boy, did my interest just plummet. I'm sure it'll be an okay movie, though. 23
Gaming / Re: So who else is hyped for Bloodborne? New weapons trailer in OP« on: February 17, 2015, 01:30:07 PM »
Luci, lets be real, you're not going to stream it. You're too incompetent.
As for me, yeah, I'm kind of excited. I like the setting and the weapons all look really interesting. Almost reminds me of RWBY in a way that the weapons transform and all that. Grimdark Victorian London is a pretty swell choice of setting, too. It's how I imagined Carim from Dark Souls, actually. Only problem I have is that the bosses look a little too fast, almost unfair, and some of the voice acting sounds pretty naff. 24

Basically this. It's not enough to just hurt Russia's economy, we really have to work harder on it to actually fuck them up proper. Easing off because Putin promises to be a good boy is bloody daft. He is not going to cooperate with the EU or the US and this Ukraine situation is gonna get out of hand. Both the EU and the US need to grow some fucking back bone and get this shitlord worried. Right now he knows that people're too afraid of a war toactually do anything serious about his dick waggling. 25
Serious / Re: Do broken promises count as lies?« on: February 17, 2015, 01:17:57 PM »
If you know you can't uphold the promise in the first place, but say you will anyway, then I suppose that'd be a lie.
What I consider a lie would be purposely saying something that's not true. Obviously a mistake's not a lie, since you believe it to be true, you're just misinformed. If you know it's false, though, then yeah, you're lying. Same as making promises. If you think you're capable and promise you will, then I don't think you're lying. If you know full well that it's beyond you, then making that promise is not really any different to telling someone a fib. 26

It's because dogs don't need to be good characters for us to like them. We automatically associate it with innocence, loyalty and unconditional love. Whereas all the characters in that film were pretty bland. You don't have to write a dog's character. Granted, they did handle that scene really, really well.
