Your friend's GPU went out but that was probably covered by whoever built the PC. My PC is still has some driver issues a year on so I can see how it'd be nice to just have the builder take responsibility instead of having to worry about it yourself. Also building a PC takes a while to gain all the knowledge of necessary components and how to put them together and not everyone has the time or want to do that 377
