Lots of exposition I think I get most of it but why did the mage master send away his daughter to another family to be trained as a potential rival? The one that got tossed in the worm pit. I like the white hair dude the best. He seems like a nice guy and it's a shame he got roped into the whole thing to save his niece. I hope he gets to take her out for ice cream. I secretly like the old man tho. Fucking disgusting as hell he tossed a kid into a worm rape pit but I like devious characters like that. He's a time bomb in the plot I can feel it. Our main character says he wants to do good in the world but he's mad sus. His wife is cute but she doesn't do anything except simp for the guy. The trap is also pretty good. I love a good hard work beats royal blood story. I kinda like the church guy right now but I saw of a video of him on Youtube so uh yeah I'll see if he can get me on his side.

So seven ancient heroes once dead get summoned, their only purpose to battle again and again until their master is broken or they lay claim to the holy grail. What a terrible

So happy it got a happy ending. It took a really dark turn there for a second like holy shit. Ituski losing her voice, everyone blaming themselves, and that poor girl stuck in the hospital bed. It was cool but also really morbid how the hero system is the modern version of ancient girl sacrifice. But like fuck the Tashi dude. I feel like if they were real heroes (which they all are except Tougou), they would be willing to sacrifice themselves and the Tashi wouldn't have to lie to them. But thinking of Tougou, maybe they had a point. Bruh I liked Tougou before but she goes off the fucking deep end after finding out the truth. Yeah save your friends from the divine tree but destroy the world they live in and kill everyone they ever known. Genius. Not to mention she breaks the wall to save her friends from pain but ends up hurting all of them way worse than if she just chilled the fuck out. I mean it's literally her fault Yuna ended up braindead for while. But I'm glad Yuna was able to come back. Seeing her that way was really disturbing. Ending doesn't really resolve much. Like Yuna just comes back one day for no reason and why are they suddenly able to heal? Doesn't really matter tho. I like seeing everyone happy especially seeing the crippled girl standing again.

I guess I gotta review the transformations and shit since it is a magical girl anime. Transformations are alright except for the random ass and panty shots. But it's not as bad as other transformations in anime. In fact, it was refreshing to see an anime with no or at least very minimal fanservice. I'll be honest though magical girl transformations are cringe as hell but they're a shot of dopamine straight to the brain. Tougou's transformation is sus as hell with all the bondage ropes and her instantly gaining DD boobs. But I like her outfit with all the tentacles propping her body up like Doc Oct from Spiderman. Yuna is best girl obvi. Karin comes in second because I like Tsunderes. They say each other's names too much and the Jap yelling gets to ear piercing levels sometimes. But overall pretty good. Heard there's a third season coming out in October. I shall wait with interest

Season 1 was awesome. Characters are developed and distinct. There are no fully good characters (except Nunually) or fully bad characters (except Nina). They have flaws that affect the world and the people around them. The plot doesn't spin its wheels. Consequences matter and drive the plot. The show is clever as hell and Lulu's plans are badass.

Season 2 was subpar. It became a lot more anime complete with lolis, traps, mechs, harem, and a shitload of fanservice. Shirley comes back just to hang around and then die. Death scene was really sad though. Nina is still a crazy ass bitch and I can't believe she didn't die after what she did to the table. I'm not completely sure what happened in C's world but it gave me some Eva vibes. It was still good though. Jerimiah became totally badass. I already liked him but him going from comic relief to loyal knight is primo. Although it kind happened out of nowhere. Rolo was a really good character and his death scene was super sad. Zero Requiem made up for all the flaws of season 2 tho. I saw it coming but it was still smart and fitting. Lulu's death was spectacular and the sound of Nunually crying being drowned out by the cheers of the people is one of the best moments of the show. Kinda wished they found a better ending for CC tho. She kinda just ends up where she started and has to continue living now.

OVA was uh interesting. Were they high when they made this? Who is this for? The art and plot suggests it's for kids but the fanservice and it being Code Geass means it's not for kids. And if it's for Code Geass fans, who the fuck was waiting to see Code Geass's take on Alice in Wonderland. But still it was fun and Cheshire Cat CC and deer Shirley was very booba. Didn't mind the fanservice since this OVA was suppose to be lighthearted. Also got spinzaku which made it all worth.

OVA was better than the movie tho. Movie was eh. It was nice seeing more of the characters but it doesn't add anything new. Lulu doesn't really talk to anyone except Suzaku and CC. Even when he reunited with Nunually, they talk for two seconds and then he dips to hang out with CC. LL + CC is pretty good I guess. I mean it fits and works fine. I'm just mad he didn't end up with who I wanted him to end up with. They spend three movies to bring back Shirley and then she shows up for 39 seconds and has no part to play. O well
