I think the growth of discord played a big role in the decline of forum activity tbh, for such a small community sometimes it's just easier to use a chatroom.
Which is a shame because chatrooms don't replace forums at all in my opinion, they offer a different service.
As someone from a different timezone to the US, I hate logging in only to see that all the conversation was happening while I was asleep.
That sucks You have to have something to say or discuss when you post on a forum tho Chatrooms you can just type peepee poopoo for hours
