I get a lot of my social views from my mother. She's extremely leftist, a supporter of LGBT, bodily autonomy, social security etc. That being said, I'm usually open to dissenting viewpoints as well. (I've adopted a fair amount of right wing views recently when it comes to economics. The more I work, the more economically conservative I get.)

If you actually paid attention to the places where it occurs, you'd realise the majority of this persecution takes place in third world institutionally lacking shit holes, like Sudan and the Middle East. Persecution of Christians is so non existent in Western Democracy that it's laughable. In some instances, you could even say they are the one's who are persecuting. So please, tone down the victim card a bit.

First two areas to declare a No Vote.

Today, on this beautiful morning of September 18th, voting polls across Scotland will open, asking people a simple yes or no question. That is; should Scotland be an independent country?

I'm going up to my local polling station in about half an hour, as I've been told there will be lengthy ques. It's a firm No vote from me, but I'm hoping the majority of people in Scotland vote for what they truly believe in, and not just what they've been peer pressured into, regardless if it's Yes or No.
