GTA V was meh on last gen so I don't expect it to be any better on next gen. Perhaps online heists will peak my interest but it kinda seems like Rockstar have casually swept that under the rug for the past year, so I don't expect it to crop up any time soon.
I've heard piss poor reviews of Unity and how it's basically one big glitch fest. It honestly doesn't surprise me seeing as how I gave up on the Ass Creed franchise after that absolute abomination called ACIII. The franchise has essentially become CoD: Medieval Warfare.
I absolutely loved FC3, but its re-playability was severely lacking. Hopefully FC4 will expand on this with arena mode. I just picked it up this morning and I'm getting good vibes from it. I'm not anywhere near establishing what I think of the game overall, but thus far I like it. Gameplay is tight, and characterization is once again, excellent. Pagan is no Vaas unfortunately, but he's still pretty entertaining as an antagonist to say the least.
Overall I'd go for Far Cry 4, but don't expect heaps of re-playability. Go for GTA V if you ever liked IV or just an overall okay game that doesn't let you down in any aspects, but doesn't impress you at the same time. Avoid Unity like the plague though.

There is not much left that hasn't already been mentioned in this thread. I doubt anyone in the right mind actively opposes equal rights, opportunities and treatments for and of women, which is what feminism should be all about. However, the word, which is already a pretty loaded term to begin with, has grown to have so many different meanings and interpretations, that it's effectively turning people away from the movement.
The egalitarian ideals have become perverted by SJW's and extremists who no longer seek equality or a true promotion of women's rights, but instead argue about things like the criminalization of "stare rape" or how sexism and double standards against men are called for in the great scheme of the battle against the evil patriarchy. This most definitely is a shame, because feminism in its core is something that everyone should support.
The logical and desirable next step is for "true" feminists to abandon the sinking and polluted ship. Make egalitarianism an actual thing and movement, distance yourself from the crazies and extremists, and get the men involved to fight for things that'll actually promote equality rather than a skewed cushion society.
I also think the failure of feminism in western society has much to do with a lack of clear goals or leadership. First wave feminism fought for women's political and institutional footing (for white women only though, but I wont get into that) during the dawn of the 20th century, whereas second wave fought for equal pay and bodily autonomy during the early 60s. Third wave is a bit trickier to gauge because they all seem to disagree on what constitutes as an actual problem. This can also be attributed to the fact that perhaps we have ultimately eliminated gender discrimination, at least in the Western World.
I wouldn't be as quick to rule it as eliminated, but it's certainly no where near the problem that it once was. Then again, it depends on how far you decide gender discrimination goes in the first place. When it starts getting into muh patriarchy and all that, it's where it starts to get ridiculous.
'Yes Dear'
Two words that shows that the evil patriarchy isn't all it's cut out to be.
Socially, yeah we still have a bit to go, what with slut shaming and all that. But institutionally and politically we're pretty much there.

Both the British Empire and the people unwilling to work through post colonialism. It's not entirely "DEM WITE PEEPLES" fault and isn't entirely the inhabitants' fault either. For the most part, both are to blame.

I think this gives a good idea of what U.S. citizens can expect if Net Neutrality is passed.
So you don't have apprehensions about opening the door for government regulation of the internet?
Are you genuinely retarded? that isn't what net neutrality is.
Net neutrality means that shitty ISPs can't fuck you and netflix out the ass and force you to pay a premium for a decent connection to watch your movies, it also prevents faggots like comcast trying to artificially raise the prices on the internet, forcing you to pay more for a shitty connection.
in what fucking world is that a bad thing?
copypasta
Do NN advocates imagine they're supporting Netflix and Silicon Valley paying nothing for their traffic? I don't think so. Netflix are just using 'Net Neutrality' as a way of drumming up support for a subsidy. They know that most people already support Net Neutrality, so they blame their problems on Comcast citing it as a a NN violation. In reality they would just rather pay nothing for their traffic.
A lot of people say that the home-users ordered the traffic, so Netflix shouldn't have to pay. But so what? It has always been a two-sided market. Why mess with something that clearly is working well? If you put all the cost-burden on the home-user, the price of their connection will need to go up substantially to cover the infrastructure costs. This might be a wash for Netflix users, because Netflix could lower their subscription prices. So you pay less for Netflix, but more for your ISP. But it's a sucky deal for people who don't use Netflix. The way it works right now is more fair. You pay your ISP less, and Netflix a bit more. The bit more that you're paying Netflix goes towards paying for their bandwidth costs on their side of the network. Some of that money eventually goes to your ISP indirectly or directly through various contracts between companies on that side. That means Netflix's customers end up paying for the infrastructure that is needed to deliver the massive amount of Netflix traffic, and non Netflix customers don't pay as much. That's perfectly legitimate and another good example of the way the free market and price mechanism arranges things nicely when there is no central planning to get in the way. Traditionally-defined NN remains still a theoretical problem only. The Comcast 'shakedown' of Netflix is not a real example. Demanding government regulation, and really expansive Title II reclassification no less, seems really foolhardy on the back of a theoretical problem. The only real examples are very few -- things like Comcast blocking BitTorrent very briefly. Would the market have handled that without it being against FCC rules? I think so, especially if the ISP market was more free to begin with. Customers don't want it.
TL;DR Everyone supporting NN is a shill for Netflix and other companies that don't want to have to pay their bandwidth providers and ISPs more for using more bandwidth. Seriously. Do some research.
This argument is heavily predicated on the basis that the ISP market is extremely competitive, which it isn't. Lack of NN would entrench what little competition there is and ensure an oligopoly.

Let me pose a question to you: Why are you so against feminism?
It's so irrelevant and antiquated in the western world that it isn't even funny anymore. I wouldn't have that much a problem with feminism if it weren't for the nutjobs that have hijacked the movement and the amount of reprehensible shit they've tried to pull.
So, your biggest problem is with the extremists in the movement.
Something that happens with any movement.
My problem doesn't just lie with the extremists (they're a significant problem in and of itself). You'd be hard pressed to find a moderate feminist that doesn't believe in the gender pay gap, or that "teaching men not to rape" is actually a good idea. You can link me the dictionary definition of feminism until the cows come home. It doesn't really matter what the original ideas meant to convey. What ultimately matters is how it is being perceived as now, and let me tell you, it isn't something I want to subscribe to.

http://qz.com/297308/the-decline-of-feminism-in-charts/It's good to see people adhering to common sense and looking past the bullshit facade feminism has attempted to spoonfeed us for the past 30 years. Hopefully in another 30 years time feminism will be tantamount to those kooky white supremacist rednecks living in their hillbilly shacks that no one takes seriously. Everyone has dreams.

10. Koko the Gorilla: Koko the gorilla resides in comfort at Woodside, Calif.-based The Gorilla Foundation. Koko the gorilla has also been involved in a grotesque sexual-harassment case along with her handlers and their supervisor. Court TV reports that "former gorilla caretakers Nancy Alperin and Kendra Keller asked for more than $1 million in damages in their sexual discrimination and wrongful termination suit," which claims that the two women were forced to expose their breasts to the gorilla in order to indulge her fetish. Alperin and Keller maintained that they were fired when they refused to show their breasts to the gorilla, but they ultimately reached a settlement with the foundation. lol

These people need to seriously die.
I'd much prefer giving them their own island in the pacific and watching them burn it to the ground. It'd be an interesting experiment in devolution.
Seriously, I don't know what it is about these people that make me seriously rage the fuck out. Hell, even the fact that ISIS and poverty still exists doesn't get me to this level of fury.

Really, I'm not one to usually say this, but it is a bit fucked up that you guys still give him shit. A 14 year old flirted with him and he made some cringe worthy comments back to her. I understand cracking jokes about it for a while after it happened and did so myself, but you all kept it going to the point where you got newer members to actually believe he was a pedophile and he got legitimately harassed. It's been almost a year now, find some new people to rip into, there certainly are people here more worthy of it, they even posted in this thread.
He openly admitted to being a pedophile though. He literally said it's okay to fuck 13 year olds because we used to do it during the pre historic era to propagate the species, therefore its justified.

I've been in the lobby for about half an hour now. Not a single player has shown up.
Bit disappointed in 343, especially seeing as how H2A multiplayer was one of their strong selling points, so you would think that they would place heavy emphasis on not making it a buggy mess on release date.

Any beta player will tell you that they completely downgraded the original ideas into the final product we have today. The beta was fun, whereas the actual game initially wasn't, at least for me. I guess that's where a lot of my distaste originated from back in 2010, so I did admittedly ignore the positive aspects because of that.
Looking back, it's not a bad game, just a bit disappointing. It's not the worst Bungie's ever done, but it's definitely not the pinnacle of their achievements.
