I mean..."don't rape people" is a pretty good thing to teach teens, too...
We already do. In fact I'm pretty sure most people instinctively know not to. Unfortunately the world we live in is inhabited by some people who just simply do not care.

Gaming / Re: Far Cry 4, do I get it?
« on: November 21, 2014, 05:13:53 AM »
Get it. Seriously. Co op alone is worth the full price of the game.

As for this "BTU IDS JUSD FUR CREH 3" complaint going around, yes, the gunplay is very similar. If its not broke, don't fix it. I'm not sure what people were expecting. You don't completely rip out the old system and replace it with a whole new one when the old system was working perfectly.

Gaming / Re: Why is no one talking about Far Cry 4?

Because its Far Cry 3?
I do not recall non linear co-op, elephant riding and a gyrocopter in Far Cry 3.
The gunplay and leveling is basically the same but I'm still enjoying this game.
The gunplay in Halo 2 and Halo 3 are basically the same too, but I never see H3 getting flak for it.

What were you guys expecting? A completely revamped gun system that was already working just fine anyway? If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I say anybody that breaks into your home or in your car should be shot with no charges pressed against you.
Strongly disagreed. This should only apply to cases where apparent danger exists to you and/or other persons.
lol

So if a guy breaks through your front door he's most likely there to take a shit or borrow a cup of sugar?

It doesn't matter if it's digital. It's still theft no matter how you look at it.

And yes, I've actually heard people use that as a justification for piracy. "HURR, U CAN'T STEAL SOMETHING THATS NOT THERE AHYUCK HYUCK"
It's not as if it's a finite resource being depleted.
The entertainment industry as a whole isn't finite anyway. Doesn't justify taking someone's work without compensating them for it.
If I hear it on the radio, should I have to pay, then, too?
If you want it advertisement free, then yeah.

They nailed the campaigns, but I feel extremely let down with the multiplayer aspect. The servers are buggy as hell, and I'm really annoyed at how little maps there are in the H3 playlist.

Because if I watch a movie titled: "Godzilla" I expect to see Godzilla.
Which...you did?

Are you complaining thereof his lack of screen presence? Because I actually think that's one of the strongest points of the film. They don't overuse him, which makes his appearance that much more satisfying.
Quote
The movie didn't deliver that part in any proper fashion until the very end of the film and as an observer to the events ufolding, I didn't give a single fuck about the human cast.
I'm pretty sure the human cast was there to drive the plot. You can't have an entire film characterize a giant radioactive lizard for a 2 hour contemporary film, as popular as he is.

Rename Godzilla to "Bryan Cranston (Also, a giant lizard!)" and then it'll be deserving of the praise it got.
Why is everyone so buttblasted at this movie? Were you all expecting Pacific Rim 2.0 or something?

Nah, there are flaws with it to any normal observer

Requires a warped understanding of Godzilla movies/directorial intent to truly appreciate
I'm not even a Godzilla fan and I enjoyed it. I don't deny the flaws either, but I thought this movie got way too much flak than it deserved. I really do get the feeling that people were expecting monster fights left right and center, which is understandable in and of itself, but going in with that mindset detracts from the true essence of the film. I find it's more of a disaster movie rather than a monster movie, which isn't necessarily bad.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 is the Toy Story of this generation.

1. How To Train Your Dragon 2
2. X-Men DofP
3. Nightcrawler
4. Godzilla
5. Captain America: Winter Soldier
6. Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes
7. Edge Of Tomorrow

Still need to see Interstellar (navo brolan) Birdman and Guardians Of The Galaxy, but I doubt my top 3 are gonna change this year.

So yeah, very solid year thus far, almost on par with 2012. Let's see what Peter Hackson brings with Battle Of Five Armies.
