I'm not going to speak for the states, but in bongistan this shit is hardly uncommon.
Britain First's mosque raids for example, whilst hilariously cringey are still an example of it. The EDL's riots were/are another. (They seem to have died off now that they stopped getting so much attention) Then you have all the unorganised petty stuff, people swearing at them in the street/on buses/trains 'fuck off back to iraq' etc. It's not a massive countrywide problem, but it does still exist.
Spoiler The EDL are autistic jingoistic ponces, but still. You never hear about EDL rape circles or various heinous crimes being covered up the police because of their skin colour. I'd say that's a far more pressing issue than mr muslamic ray gun.

The only people that are dicks to those subscribed to Islam (and I use the word dicks very loosely) in the UK are the EDL. And even then, they're only really attacking the religion, not their skin colour. Why people misconstrue the two lines of thought I will never know.

Also, any first world developed nation would respond in the same manner and hostility as Israel does with Hamas, it's just that the large majority of people being killed are unfortunately innocent civilians caught in the crossfire, which is no doubt Hamas's doing.
