And yeah, I'm not dead. Admittedly I made that thread in a drunken haze. It wasn't exactly a joke and it wasn't to be taken seriously either. I do have suicidal feelings but the way I deal with them is to laugh about it, and poke fun at a serious issue. It's how I deal with a lot of things in my life.

The FSC works on a microbiological level, which means that any host cell targeted would be converted into a Flood cell. There's no evidence to suggest a Xenomorph exoskeleton would be able to combat this, nor its acidic blood (acidity operates on the chemical level, not the biological level. Cells in the blood would just as easily be converted as any other cell in the body). Unless the Xeno has a cellular defense mechanism, it's as much Flood food as anything else.

That's the point. It's a very slow movie on purpose. You can't give it shit for doing something that it's trying to do. It's not like it had a pacing issue.
I don't take issue with the pacing, I take issue with what happens within the pacing. Really though, none of the characters are ever delved into explicit detail during the build up scenes before the Alien makes an appearance, making me care for virtually no one, and when it does appear, it's riddled with so many contrivances and coincidences that I can't help but literally groan. "HAHA WE BLEW UP DA SHIP, BUT W8 O NO, THE AYYLIUM MAGICALLY APPEARED IN THE LIFEBOAT FOR NO APPARENT REASON. 1SPKOY XDD" And yeah, I'm aware Cameron does this in regards to The Queen, but at least he makes it relatively believable. Don't even get me started on the random Android subplot either, if you can even call it that.
